do you have to take antibiotics post op? xx or is it only if you feel sick

You must take the antibiotics as prescribed to prevent infection.

You will also be prescribed painkillers but just take these if you want to

I’m not sure if you have to but it resuses the risk of infection so i series would if I where you

no you will be given a course of antibiotics for 7 days and a packet of strong pain killers on you discharge from hospital its to prevent any infection im 3 weeks post op and fine
