Antibiotics AFTER BA

Hi girls,

Just wondered if any of u post op girls experienced diarrhoea after your ba. Im 4 days post op and dont know whether its the painkillers or andibiotics. Or even if this is normal because i dont normally suffer with it when i have taken antibiotics of painkillers before. Things we go through 2 have boobies lol. But i love them. Any advice/comments would be greatly appreciated xx

Yes! Last night after I took my pills I was in agony with my stomach, from what i’ve read it’s perfectly normal!

Althou you prob don’t want to, continue taking your medicine until it finishes. I’ve got one day left of antibiotics etc so I’m hoping I won’t hav a poorly tummy for much longer.

Sorry hunny it’s yet another little disadvantage of being beautiful

I said 2 hubby about stopping them n he said no way a bit of a dodgy tummy is better than an infection in my new lovlies. I know hes right but wont tell him that lol!!! Its a good job i love my boobies soooooo much cus it makes the dodgy tummy etc worth while, its nice 2 have contact with some1 who is at the same stage in their recovery as me well apart from a day xx

Hi Girls I am 6 days post op as well and had a really bad tummy for the last 2 days especially last night but I can’t go to the toilet, took my last tablets this morning and belly already feeling a lot better today. Hopefully you will feel the same. Does any of you feel a slight vibration in your boobs I am sure I can every now and then?

I think I feel vibrations, mine feel more like little butterflies fluttering every now and again. I wonder what this is?

It’s good to have other ladies heeling at the same rate!

Your right Samii little butterflies is more like it. I’m having mine off wed as well what times your appointment? Think mines at 1430. Hope I don’t get this sunburn feeling doesn’t sound very nice.

Have u been more cold than normal too? I’m freezing all the time.

Not looking forward to having my bandages, well their more like giant plasters, off on Wednesday, my be a little uncomfortable?!

I havent got bandages just like gorz/plasters over my incisions which are due 2 come off wednesday. Each surgeon is different apparantly with what they do after op some uses bandages some use non disposable stitches etc i asked y and my pc just said just the individual surgeons and their ways. I know what u mean about the butterfly/bubbling sensation in the boobs very strange feeling. And like u i am cold all the time at the moment but i think thats the ga from what i can gather, i went on the internet and had a look about side effects of ga and that was one of them. I have been cold as well and find my boobs feel really hard and sore when I am cold. Do you get this? Do you know when we can drive and start lifting? I have to take my children to school this week but not sure I am quite ready to drive yet and I have a poorly baby who crys for me to pick him up finding this really difficult!!

I am petrified about having the bandages removed but can’t wait as I find them very uncomfortable.

Good luck for wed I am sure we will have a few more ups and downs on our road to recovery.
