    Hey!

I’m 1 week post BA op today! Feeling great, very little pain, but just so aware that they’re there, very tight, tender, and I feel generally very stiff! How long does it take for them to feel normal and part of my body?? I’m desperate to get on with my everytday life without feeling like I’ve just had surgery. They still feel very numb, is this normal? If so, how long before you can feel them properly again?! I wish I could snap my fingers and being fully healed!!

Would love to hear from anyone who’s surgery is nicely behind them!!

Do you have the sticky tapes on? I felt so much more normal once they came off – it was a huuuge relief.

I still have pain down my sides which is where the tapes have nipped me so tight that I think i’m possibly a little bruised under the skin, other than that I feel pretty normal – I am 11 days post op with 410cc’s under the muscle :) x

    Hello

I had my dressings removed last week, and they put sterie strips on in their place, which will come off any day. I think I will feel better when they’re off too.

I do feel quite bruised now (currently 9 days post op). I have to admit leigh, I didn’t have brusing in my clevage, but that is where alot of my pain was. It also felt quite hard in the middle, and I was so scared the implants were meeting in the middle and lifting my skin, but that’s all settled now. I don’t think I actually had any visible brusiing, I just FEEL bruised and very tender. Sleeping normally now, just have to be careful when turning in the night. Still feeling very numb on the underside of my boobs, which I really hope will change soon!

Congratulations of your ops girls, and I hope you continue to heal nicely…

Bruising is pretty normal, don’t worry about it, unless of course you’re black & blue :D x
