Aiya Hun i’am over night and told 12 admission time I’am not nervous at all yet just want it to hurry up seems to be taking forever haha only thing bothering me is I had a missed phone call yesterday telling me to ring back as quite important but didn’t see it till 8 last night tried ringing this morning but no answer hope it’s not cancelled:-( did you have blood taken and MRSA swabs done at your pre op? I didn’t wonder if it could be that xx

Hi Sammy. I was booked in for the 23rd sept at manchester with Dr Antoniadou and i got a phonecall this morning advising that they have had to cancel my op til the 1st october as the surgeon is off due to family illness.

HI GSTAR my pc rang me back yesterday with the bad news that helena’s mum has had a heart attack so she’s back in greece provisionally penciled me in for the 30th of sept but waiting on a call tomorrow to see if she will be back as they said she may be back on the 23rd to operate on the 24th but they didn’t know so they had to ring all her patients to see if they could rearrange appointtments

it’s bad isn’t it as theres nothing ya can do except fingers crossed everything is ok for helena, i’am also waiting for a call from me mum who’s waiting for a call from her boss to see if she can have the time off to look after my son don’t know what i’am gonna do otherwise total nightmare but apart from that i’am still excited what are ya having done hun xx sam xx

Hi Sammy29, yeah iv had the same problems, i av a 19mnth old daughter so iv been organising everything this week whilst really excited about getting it done so i was really disappointed when i got the phonecall. Im having 380cc unders, so definately fingers crossed for helena and all of us cos i dont want another phonecall with another delay i cant wait any longer!!! And i dont want another surgeon i really liked helena when i met her. Anyways might see you in there then hun youll be leaving as im going in. Goodluck xx Gemma xx

hi piebury1 im with mr singh? whose ur surgeon? i phoned this mornin as i cudnt wait any longer and they told me its 1pm my admission time. Mya havent contacted me yet tho which is a bit annoyin u wud think they wud tell u as soon as its possible to find out. xxxx

Hi Sammy, iv just had a phonecall from mya asking if i want to swap surgeons and still go ahead on the 23rd, its with dr traynor, iv heard good things about him but i cant decide?

Oh god Gemma what ya gonna do I’d thought about changing surgeon as she mentioned this on Saturday and said if I changed I would want traynor but i’am just sticking with Helena let me know what you decide Hun I’ve also heard good things about traynor so think if I was in your shoes I’d be happy that be was the surgeon good luck Hun xx sam xx

Hi hun, iv made the BIG decision to go ahead with traynor! Just feel so frazled now as id got use to the idea of waiting another week and now got behind with all my plans to have everything organised b4 i go in. Just want to get it over with and keep worrying if i wait another week i still might be delayed if helena doesnt come bk? Im well nervous now though had it all set in my mind how everything was gonna go, oh well just need to keep thinking of the end result. BIGGER BOOBS!!!!!! Hope everything all goes well with you xx

Hey Sammy, just thought id let u know that iv got my boobs finally and happy with everything so far. It went really well with dr traynor i didnt have to have drains as he doesnt use them and also he doesnt use bandages and said not to wear a bra for 6 wks. I went in at 1 today and went into surgery for 3.20pm. All staff r really nice and i havent found it too painful yet even without painkillers. And im at home now. Good luck with your op hun im sure everything will go well for you , try not to be too nervous hun as it all feels very natural when you get there and ur asleep before you know, best thing is that u dont see the surgery room as they put u to sleep in the recovery room xx gemma xx
