Any Ladies of darker skin having a BA?

Hi dolly’s,

I am really keen to have my boobs done, especially since having my 2nd child 8 months ago, my boobies look like rich tea biscuits after you dip them in tea!!!

Anyway, I wanted to know if anyone with darker skin has had their boobs done with Mya and had any pics to show? I dont think I would have the keloid scars, but would love to see the results and the surgeon that did them. Let me know, thanks….

can i ask what makes u think u wont get keliod scarring?

Hi Oreo01! Im white and had a caesarean 3 years ago and got a bad keloid scar….when I showed the surgeon he told me about the statistics and the fact that black/asian people normally suffer more with them but I have a high risk of getting them when my boobs are done because Ive scarred like that in the past. Im still going ahead though as I really want them done. Thankfully my surgeon uses glue and not stitches so hopefully that will make the scar smaller. Im having mine done on 5th January so fingers crossed I will have little neat white lines underneath! Heres hoping!!! x

yes Oreo01 it is highly likely you will get a keliod scarring even if you dont have one at the moment due to our skin type.

Booblicious i too have a keliod scarring but like you im still going to have my boobs done.

did ur surgeon say u may have a smaller scarring if he uses glue?

did the surgeon discuss having the implant inserted through the armpit as that may result in no or very minimal scarring due to the armpit skin is thin.

can i ask what size u are and what u will be having? who is ur surgeon?.

p.s if you do become bothered with ur keliod scarring go to ur G.p he should referr u to ur local hospital to have them injected (it doesnt really hurt) but it realy does flatten it.It helped with mine and it was free

Firstly thanks for even replying, I only thought I wouldnt have the scarring due to some abdominal surgery I had done in the past (leaving me with quite a long in length incision), and this healed lovely and very flat too.

Too be honest im not that bothered about the scars/keloids, but I’d love to see and hear about your experiences. I want to be a very full D and do worry about the stretchies. But I dont want the stuck on look or a huge gap down the middle. I do like the look of Gemma Atkinson Teardrop Breast and that size would be fab!!!

im a 34a (barely) and i dont believe the surgeon will offer me any higher than 380cc or 410 c c because of how small i am with either of these sizes i may be a full c or D maybe even a bit bigger.

when i have seen pics of other chicks on here who were 34a and now a d or higher i have not seen any stretch marks

and one of the other chicks on here recommended moisturising the boobs before and after the operation (just not near the incisions) this should help reduce or prevent strech marks.

so basically stretch marks may depend on how big the implant is what size are u at the mo? x x x

Im having Mr Aurakzai and I think he may be one of the only ones to use glue. He said that this gives a neater scar. He never mentioned going in through the armpit though. He offered me 340cc or 380cc and Im taking the 340’s but he was quite worried about me having them under the muscle. The reason was that you can also suffer from keloid scarring internally and if he has to pull the muscle off the ribcage to get the implant in, when it heals it may heal badly! Therefore he is going to try and get them over which to me doesnt make a difference as long as I have boobies! Ha ha!! Only 3 more sleeps now!! xx

realy i never knew about internal keliods o no and i wud of prefered the implants under the muscle. i defo want to see ur surgeon and another and see what they say. Did u see another surgeon and get a 2nd opinion?

No…didnt see anyone else…felt really comfortable with him and was really happy with going with him. He really knows his stuff…Ive researched him on the internet and he also has his own clinic. He also done Alex Curran! I cant wait, got my admission time the other day 7.30am in Manchester Lifestyle Hospital, so hopefully by lunchtime Ill be boobilicious ha ha!! x

Hey Oreo…I’m mixed race. I’ve had quite a few ops already (not BA other things) and some of my scars are keloid and some aren’t I think it all depends. I am willing to take the risk though, but using bio oil has really helped all my scars so I’m planning to do this on my new bigger and better boobies!

I recommend you maybe talk to Mr. Kazazzi as well as other surgeons. He’s doing mind and even with my race he’s recommended under the muscle. He’s a fab guy, makes you feel really relaxed and is a pioneer for the natural look as he specialises in reconstructions of cancer patients. I’ve also looked at the work hes done and honestly they’re amazing. Just gonna find out the name of a girl that you can add whose has unders by kazazzi and they are beautiful add her and request to see his lovely work and her gorgeous boobies! x x

sorry to ask u again but did he not mention it at all. its only cuz the other chick on her said her surgeon said she can get an internal keliod from having unders but i have done alot of research and there is no evidence of having keliods from under the muscle BA just a keliod from the sight of the incision. ive even looked on websites for black people wanting BA’s they only warn of keliod scarring from the incision not from having having unders when the muscle heals back. infact that sounds like capsular contractive and that has nothing to do with keliods accorrding to my research x x

hey hun. He mentioned Keloid but not from having unders, and nothing about it being internal. My nurse checked all my scars today and said i should heal perfectly well. I’ve never heard of internal keloid, but anyone can get internal scarring no matter what race you are, i had it under my appendix scar and had it scraped out, thats nothing to do with keloid. I have to have unders and im quite happy about it after speaking to my nurse. At the end of the day this surgery is going to leave us with scars, you just have to make sure you’re willing to accept them along with your new boobs. also capsular contraction is a hell of a lot less likely with unders than overs x x

thanks hun i knew i thought i had it right and ive been researching for days. i think i will get a keliod scarring at the sigt of the incision and im willing to take the risk id rather have boobs and a keliod than no boobs and no keliod. thanks for getting back to me quick x x

Hi, am black and I had mine done in may, I really did not think about it, was on this forum and just asked general questions. Thank heavens i did not have any problems. When I was doin my researched I was keen on darker skin and I never found anyone who complained about keloids, and bliv me when I say ‘I researched’ all the best ladies
