hi ya, iam a mum too, i had my boobies done nearly 6 weeks ago and the only regret i have is that i shoulda done it sooner. after having my daughter my boobs were very empty, so a breast enlargment was defintly needed. my family wernt very pleased at first about my want for implants, but they soon came round, my friends thort it was great that i was doing something that i had wanted for ages, and as for other people, well who cares what they think.noones said anything negative (not to my face anyway) lol. oh and my mum looked after my daughter for me, who is 5 years old, and ihad basically had 8 days at home on my own to recover,it went that bad really, and im soo pleased i did it xx

Hi there!! yes i am a mummy, i have a 3 year old and a 16 month old. After having my 2nd baby my boobs completely shrunk, i used to be a lovely pert 34c but they ended up a baggy empty 34b sacks!! they were awful!!
So i had a boob job last september. I had to have an uplift aswell, as after having kids my boobs dropped alot, and my nipples werent in the correct position, which happens to alot of women who have had kids. So now i own a lovely pert pair of 32e boobs, and very very happy!! they dont look massive, just neat! they look bigger without clothes, but in clothes they look a d cup.
Do you want me to email you my album!! or you can check it out on sofem, my username is janey22 and password is boobies
B4 i had mine done i too was very worried of how i was guna look after my kids, it was mainly my toddler, as at the time he was 10 months old so needed to be lifted alot, so i stayed at my mums for the first 7-10days (as my partner was at work!) and she helped me!! she more or less did everything, and i laid up stairs and reads mags etc!! it does take it out of you, sdo you will need some help! but if your kids are walking etc, its ok! its mainly lifting thats the prob, you get away with cooking etc, its just hard opening cupbaords etc as your not allowed to lift and stetch your arms out etc!! but its over in no time!!
You shud def go for it! its not as bad as it seems!! feel free to ask my anything and email me for any advice!! i am janey_heptinstall@yahoo.co.uk **

    hey

this is what im worried about, my litte girls is 11 months and dont know how i would mange for the week afta to recover, mum would help for a couple of days but a wole week would be to much for her. Plus i would have to have unders ;( x

    Menu

I’m a mum of 12 month old twins and had my BA yesterday! I’m very sore still. My partner has taken time off work to look after my girls as I can’t lift them for a while. He is managing although still needs some intruction!! My mum said she will also come and help so as long as you’ve got help you should be fine! x

Thaks Snowangel, mt partner is really good but will be difficult to have time off s its just in the day i will need help.

did u have unders/overs? what size did you go from – to.

i havent decided – ive read about soft touch to, theres to many choices of size/type profile lol

I was a 32a. I’m 5ft2, 7.5st size 8 and had high profile 380cc overs. I only had it done yesterday so still very sore and swollen. I’m wearing a 34DD sports bra at mo. I think they will look great when they have settled! x

Once they have setled and ur not as sore would you send me sum pics – honneys22@yahoo.co.uk

the only thing with overs im worried the will look more fake or if you can see the edge of the implant. but i suppose thats why they will tell you if you have to have unders.x

    Menu

Well the recovery time with unders is longer but I had no choice, surgeon told me they couldn’t do unders with my boobs (it’s all to do with your current tissue etc). I can’t see the edge of the implants with mine and they are very hard and swollen so think if I was gonna see the edge I would see it now.

I’ll send some pics once they’ve settled a bit no probs. x

    Menu

mccrae – i’ve taken some pics now so sent you some to email. Remember i’m only 2 days post op! Still very swollen and sore lol

Hiya mummys :D I have the same problem. After the birth of my second child who is 7 months old my boobs are non-existent and I also have a 4 year old daughter. Am not only worried for the recovery with two kids because my partner would be home for 3 weeks to help me out but also the aftercare. My partner works abroad and I dont drive so it might be a bit complicated. How often do you need to see the doc after?

Decisions, Decisions, not easy when u got so much to choose from …

@snowangel: would it be ok if you could send me some pics too? claudi-da@gmx.de

    thx alot

Luna – My partner is doing fine with our 12 month old twins… it’s actually done him the world of good cos he’s realised how hard I work as a mummy and why i’m so tired all the time!! lol.

I’m lucky that if I need it, my mum can help as well though when my partner does go back to work in a few weeks.

& no probs will send pics now, let me know what you think of them! I like getting opinions! lol xx

    Hello yummy mummies

hoping someone can help? i’m booking my surgery on monday (eeek!) but unsure what to tell my 6 yr old. dont want to tell her but shes not stupid and will obviously notice mummys boobies r bigger but dont want to make her body conscious or make her think she shudnt b happy wit what she has!

what has anyone else told their kids?

    Menu

I’m lucky that my girls are too young to remember! Just asked me other half what we would have said if our girls were older and this was his answer ‘it’s a better bra than mummy had before!’

I’ve got 2 little girls (8yr old and 4 yr old) and had my BA on tues. (260cc unders)

I decided to tell them purely because Mummy would be away for a night and the next day and they would most definately notice the difference on my return.

I explained that Mummy felt sad after her boobies went away (when I had the children) and that I wanted to look like I did b4. My eldest turned her nose up and then laughed and my youngest said “mummy’s gonna have boobies again – yey!:D

Since I’ve been home I’ve been very useless around the house! my hubby had to return to work 2 days post op so my family and friends have been a god send. At the ages they are, my children are independant so picking them up, dressing them etc hasn’t affected it. The only problem I’ve had is doing their hair!! (along with my own)they asked to see my new boob when I got home and had fun telling their teacher!! but apart from that they dont even look, never mind talk about it.

I’m 5 days post op now and feeling loads better, finished most of my medication and STRONGLY believe that the effects of the tablets were worse than the BA!

Still cant drive at the moment but having my post op check on Thurs and definately think I’ll be driving by then …

    Hope this helps … x
