Hey girls new or old, I’m an oldie but haven’t been on for aaaages.

I’ve booked my date with mr traynor after saving for a year so I’m back on for any help, advice or reminders of do’s and don’ts.

My date is 19th of July at Preston so would be good to find a boobie buddy if anyone else is the same date X

Not sure what you mean by oldie but I’ve been here a year! Good luck for your op hun. There are loads of great tips on here, common things that pop up are v pillows, throat sweets, paperwork, hotel reservations, button/ zip up clothes, try to get fit beforehand as you’ll be off exercise for a while, don’t smoke in the run up to the op, ring the hospital to check you’re on the list of ops for the day (after mya have confirmed with you of course), buy a macom in your regular back size (cups are expandable so you don’t need different bras in differing sizes), umm, can’t think of much more right now x

Hey hun yeah I remember you, I joined just over a year ago but had to save so I didn’t come on here as much!

I’ve already got a few things like dermatix sheet and gel for my scars afterwards, bromelien tablets to reduce swelling and bruising after, I have v pillows anyway but I think I’m going to get a new one so it’s abit fuller, I’ve been reading about a Royce bra but I dont think mr t actually bothers about you wearing a macom anyway from what I can remember him sayin he told me about the asda sports bra but I’ll check with him again, I won’t need a hotel depending on admission time but it’s only a 40 min drive anyway so I think Im quite organised. I’ll do a trip to primark the wk before to get new pj’s n stuff n front opening tops, I’m so excited now :-) X

Hey lozza I think a lot is personal preference on what to take and do like the bromelien not a lot know about it or take it but I bruise easily so I’m gona take it and the likes of Malcolm’s vs tesco/asda own sports bras I think it’s upto what people feel comfortable in but any help and advice is welcomed so thanks. Did you buy it after or before your op? X

Vitamins you cant take any of 2 weeks before or after, but I would recommend a high protein diet after.the opp as.the body needs protein to repair itself so that could aid your recovery xx

Yeah I know about the vitamins because I’ve got small op on 21st may and they told me at my pre op, I never knew that though n I wouldnt think that vitamins would affect ga in anyway! I have protein shakes regularly anyway as part of my diet because I train quite hard 5 days a wk. How long after can I not take vitamins for because I was told to take bromelien after to help swelling and bruising? X

I’ll accept you now! Is he bothered whether it’s a Macom? I’m sure my pc told me he prefers asda sports bras lol X

Hey hun, i got my tesco sports bra before hand and never felt the need to get any other types, i just alternate between them cos i got three. I have an asda one as well which i find uncomfy and not as supportive as they are very thin material. Not sure about the brusing, i didnt take anythin cos i didnt bruise too badly considering and it settled after a couple weeks. Id say go for the 460s for sure, i got 470s and i think they are ample xx
