Any one else have a low bmi?

I had my prep last Friday and I my BMI was 18.2 which the nurse said was abit to low so she had to take bloods? Did any other girls have this? Did it effect anything? My op is in 18 days I’m just nervous now I won’t be classed healthy enough? Also I am still torn between 325/350cc or to have 350/375cc what would you ladies suggest and if anyone has these implants could you please tell me if your happy with results? Xox

Hi Hun i have a low bmi but didn’t have any bloods taken they didn’t seem concerned so i’m sure you will be fine. I had 325cc unders on Friday i’m really happy with the size perfect for my frame not too big but a definite improvement from my 32A size before. Get the strapping off Friday so will get to see them properly then 🙂 xx

A healthy bmi is between 18-25 so your is at the lower end of healthy but still within the bracket.
Everyone has bloods taken at pre ops so don’t worry about it.

Im exactly the same my bmi is normally just under 18 which i was worried about, then when i went for my pre op i had somehow lost weight and it was 17.3! The nurse didnt even mention it though & i didnt have my blood taken either! Xx

@kimbarwee gosh that is low! I’m so surprised they didn’t take bloods my nurse said she had too as mine was under what they want for surgery. When is your surgery? What implants are you having? X

My op was ok Bethan…think I may have over done it a little bit too much today thou as I feel quite achey but overall I feel ok I’ve got two little girls too so running around after them probably hasn’t helped…the pain in bearable thou…I get my strapping off Monday so will post pics for u…I’ve got some brusing on my ribs which I only realised today lol my mya journey has been brilliant and the nurses looking after my at Fitzroy were so amazing I can’t fault them at all…I’m so happy with my new additions xx

I was a day case hun…to be honest how tired I was I just wanted to get home to my own bed and be in my own surroundings…do u have someone to look after u when u get back home? U don’t realise how much u rely on the use of your arms till u can’t use them properly lol Im allergic to codeine so couldn’t be given that as pain relief so was given ibuprofen which wasn’t strong enough…so brought some max strength ibuprofen and they have worked a right treat! The strapping is a right pain and I feel like my boobs will fall off when I bend down lol can’t wait to get it off on Monday

Most companies take bloods as routine at pre op so don’t worry hun. Personally I would go for the bigger size as at least then you wont think ‘oh wonder what they would look like just that bit bigger’ as most girls say they get boob greed xx

@sr93 I’m just worried they will be too big :(? I’ve been offered 325/350 or 350/375 due to asymmetry x

@char87 what is the strapping? I know it sounds silly but I don’t know! Does it go round your back too? Xx

There won’t be too much difference if it’s only 25cc Hun. Are you having unders (partials) or overs? Unders apear abit small anyway so if you’re having unders I would go bigger size. Have you tried the rice test? Might help you decideXx

@sr93 yes I’m having particials, no I haven’t I’m not sure how to do it! I do still want to look like they could be natural in clothes x

Get an old pair of tights and cut the feet part off then fill that with however much uncooked rice (grams) of the cc. So 350grams of rice equals 350cc, 325 grams equals 325cc etc. then tie it up and shape it so its equal and round then put it in either the bra size you want to achieve or a sports bra and put a tight vest/gym top and that’s roughly what they’ll look like. I’m still pre op, 20 days to go eek 🙂 but it was recommended to me
By my surgeon to help me choose sizes so guess it must be kinda accurate. Got my pre op on the 24th which im so nervous for as hate needles, such a baby. Xx

Strapping is like an adhesive bandage but in strips and it holds your implants down and kinda squashes them…no it doesn’t go all the way round just half way round u..Its pretty uncomfortable and feels like u can’t breathe when u take deep breaths it’s not nice 🙁 will see if u can upload a pic of strapping to this post for u xx p.s excuse the pink line across my tummy Lol

@char87 oh god that sounds and looks so annoying as my op is one week before Easter I have to wait another 3 days so I have 10 days of strapping ewwww x

Awwww bless u…it’s not nice and it’s pretty itchy…so tempted to take it off myself but its too painful so I’ll just have to wait till Monday

Not got any photos up yet but I will put some on this week so you can have a look 🙂 x
