Any1 bloated after ba???

Omg had ba fri morn and my tummy is so bloated and feels weird and I put on some much weight ??? Y?? Pls tell me this is normal and will go away!!

Hi I was exactly the same hun, I looked pregnant after my BA, only just started to go down today, i’m 10 days post op.

I had to take some laxatives as I didn’t go to the toilet for 5 days!!

Snap, I was the same. I felt huge for at least 13 days after the op. Usually I’ve got a really good stomach muscle definition from my clevage all the way down my stomach but it was non existant. It’s back now though and my body is slowly getting back to normal. I’m 4 weeks post op and I’m noticing a difference every week.

Oh thank u ! That’s encouraging ! I had baby 4 months ago and worked really hard to get figure back for ba and was feelin totally gutted as I looked more like I did a week after given birth ! Lol especially as my posture is rubbish now aswell ! Xx

genearal anaesthetic plays havoc with your stomach and digestive system! loads of water and some of them good bacteria(actimel etc) drinks/ tablets usually help too xx

samnwill … couldn’t help but laugh at your last comment .. when people have asked me “how u feeling” I say “like i’ve just had a baby’!! … the feeling is very similar .. boobs feel full n warm, tummy is bloaded, posture is crap (apparently we tend to hunch because it’s a self protection instinct!!) and don’t know about anyone else but days 3/4 post op I cried like I had baby blues … it all passes tho thank god!

Defo get fruit into U etc … I’m in the habit of eating more healthy now thanks to this! and if U feel that bloated etc take mild laxatives, drink OJ and dont go far lol x

Haha don’t do what i did.

Came home the day i had it done, knew i would struggle going loo so i took 2 senna straight away, that night i thought i would take another 2 just incase, so i did. The next morning the senna hadn’t worked so i took another 2. All in all i took 6 senna.

An hour later i spent the next 2 days running to the loo, the 6 senna decided to kick in all at once, not good lol.
