Any1 Help?x

i was just wondering if anyone new if i could change my pc? To be honest i just dont feel comfortable with her, shes been propa funny with me. She went on annual leave and i didnt know when she would be back, so i had to contact one of the others..i text asking what size post-op bra to get..no reply. So i phoned yesterday and alls i got was what i felt like…grief! She was saying that she might have to post-pone my op,all because im debating between 380 and 410 but i see my surgeon on the 14th to see if he will do the 410’s thats the whole point me seeing him then,…Then after the conversation ended. She phoned me back and was saying that if i have any questions then to phone her not the other one because i text someone else asking what size bra to get? And no-1 told me when she would be back from her leave, she didnt inform me either. But to phone me back just to say dont phone anyone else but her, i felt as though she was having a bit of a dig. I text her telling her how i felt and she text me back sayin. dont worry about it, see u on the 14th. just feel a bit peed off! Ive paid nearly 4 grand, i should be able 2 talk to who i like and whoever i feel comfortable with. I dont think they should have the right to post pone an op eeither. Its not as though im unsure about having the surgery. Just feel as though she really dislikes me and ive been made to feel bad for asking questions.

that’s terrible. i would def ask for anther pc if you’re not happy. I would ask to speak to the manager and ask for someone else. Just explain the situation. I had my pre-op yesterday and my pc is on her hols, they told me i could talk to anyone and the nurses. Don’t know what her problem is?? I have put down to have 380s and 410s not said anything like that to me?

Im also like you hun and not sure on the size 380 or 410 so they have ordered both sizes for me to decide on the day!

yeah i know i just dont see what her problem is? I dont no if its because i have asked a few questions and she has seen me as a bit of a pain, but everyone is goin 2 have questions when their going in for surgery. Its only natural. Its not as though i have said im not sure if i want the surgery, its just because of the 380/410 situation. I have spoken to the nurse and she is lovely, anwsered all my questions and been nothing but polite. I just hope she doesnt phone in a couple of days to say she has post-poned my surgery just to be funny because i would be gutterd. And thnks for the replies girls i think im going to get intouch with the manager see what can be done xxx

Yeah I had one who was great but when she left my new one never ever contacted me, I wanted to book and see the surgeon one last time but she just kept ignoring me so after a month I contacted mya mod and got a new one, who is great.x

yeah, shes gave me the choice on the day 2, thats if she doesnt post-pone but it was because i was unsure what to go for, i dont really wana say who, dont want the situation made worse for me, i havnt seen her since i booked up though, i seen her around 12months ago when i was deciding to have it then, but ive seen the other one who works there and she seems nice and understanding. I did like her when i first met her just the past couple of times ive spoke to her ive really felt like she dislikes me xxx

I just said I had tried contacting her but hadn’t heard for over a month and I was ready to book, and then asked for the dates for July and August. He said someone else will contact me and a few days later I got a new one.

It’s really bad that your pc wants to post pone just because you can’t choose. Most girls on here order 2 sizes and decide on the day, that’s what I was going to do until I saw my surgeon again and decided on a size.

I think if you are not comfortable hun then you shud ask for a change as you would if you were uncomfortable with your surgeon. My PC is great, she has been through an uplift and ba herself and said I could ask as many q’s day or night and go and try the implants as many times as I wanted etc as she had been thru the same feelings and anxieties… Had my surgery yesterday and I couldnt be happier with the service I have received. Everyone should be made to feel this confident and comfortable whatever branch your with x

ive only got to wait until next week tho so i dont no wether 2 just leave it, i might just see her when i go and see the surgeon and say that shes made me feel uncomfortable. I think it was because i had spoken to the other one and said i was a bit worried that i wouldnt be able 2 change my mind on sizes if i wanted to and i went back and seen her and i felt much better once a few things had been cleared up. then yesterday she was saying that it was like i was worrying and unsure so she might have to consider post-poning. Im not worrying though i had sorted my worries out with the other one before her return and when i text i explained that. So hopefully its all still going ahead. xx

yeah i know, just dont want to feel bad for asking questions and i dont want 2 feel as though i am nagging…Just dont think she likes me at all. I did like her though when i first met her but its just since ive spoken to her recently, i just dont feel comfortable. xxx

You shouldn’t be made to feel bad about asking questions hun, that’s ridiculous. For the money you’re paying, she should really be at your beck and call, that’s my opinion anyways.

I also have the 380 or 410 dilemma and my PC has been nothing but supportive, I call her a couple of times a week or when I have a stupid stupid question to ask her, and she’s always been so polite and patient!! Lol, as I know I’m a pain in the ass and I panic WAY too much.

I think you’re entitled to change your PC, especially if you’re feeling uncomfortable. It shouldn’t be made to be a big deal either hun. I think you’re doing the right thing

There seems to be alot of people having bad experiences cancelled ops etc i feel a bit wary weather or not MYA will be for me but i have heard so much good stuff yet on the forum SOOOO much bad stuff ;/ xx

i no, i just want it sorted out hun, i agree. i feel bad for phoning and asking questions and i shouldnt..I wouldnt say my experience with mya has been bad. Every other person i have dealt with have been so polite its just i feel as though my PC really does not like me. The surgeons lovely, the other people in the office are lovely. I just dont want to feel uncomfortable. After all it is only natural for people to have questions prior 2 surgery.

Of course it’s only natural hun… I can’t count how many questions I’ve asked, and I’ve still got more!! Haha.

But you should feel 100% comfortable with this journey, so changing your PC is the right thing to do. I mean, it’s not vindictive or anything! So you shouldn’t feel bad hun.

Pauly pops there have been a couple of us lately who had dates changed but tbh mine were only days apart. Plus when my dates changed i got a huge bunch of flowers from my PC and the girls in the office so shows how thoughtful they are and how much they care about your experience. Hasn’t changed my opinion at all and had my ba yesterday and loved every minute…my surgeon is amazing and first trust hosp staff in preston were fab x

It’s only a few out of so many that have had bad experiences, I think all places are like that.x

i do feel a bit bad but then i think to myself i have paid my money and i think that within that, all patients have the right to feel comfortable with asking any question without feeling bad or anything. xxx

i wouldnt say mya is a bad group. i have met so many nice people. xxx
