I met another surgeon 2night outwith mya…and he suggested for me a subpectoral placement where only the top half on implant is under the pec muscles…but at consultation with mya surgeon he only gave the option of over muscle or completely under muscle, neither really suit me coz i dont want overs and i have some loose skin so unders wouldnt fill it out properly, so the sub pectoral seems a good idea but im just wondering why mya surgeon didnt suggest or mention it..wonder if theres something i dont know about it! Thanks Ladies xxx

i may be totally wrong but im sure i remember reading somewhere that what are routinely classed as ‘unders’ are technically subpectoral with half or a part of the implant not being completely under the muscle. probably best to have another consultation with the MYA surgeon and mention this and see what he says about the way he operates as every surgeon has their own ways of doing it :) xx

HI hun. Most surgeons just refer to partials as unders.

Most full unders are actually only preformed on people who have had a op due to cancer, or as part of a gender change.

Full unders would take a lot more than six weeks to settle and there is no way u wod be back at work withing a week or two.

Also full unders are placed under all 3 layers of muscle, where as partials are placed under the first layer. Thats why we can feel the edge of the implant.

Again most surgeons say unders/overs when in reality normal BAs are just partials.

A full unders op would take hrs not 45mins.

many girls on here have had unders(partials) including me.

Hope this helos, google it for more info tho hun xx

    :) pleased to help!

I heard that tear drop can flip etc, but that depends how much physical exercise u do, eg weights etc.

I have a natural type slop with the rounds, i think that under the muscle(partials lol) give the slop cos of the muscle if u can imagine that.

Speak to ur surgeon hun about the teardrops and see what he/she says.

Ur doing the best thing having a few cosults hun, get all the knowledge u can .

    Good luck xxx
