well im having unders and will be at home alone with my 7 month old, but iv had two c-sections, and managed great from day two, although im sure its diff when you cant move your arms (can you??)..but im hoping itll be fine xxx

well good luck to you, dont think i could do it with a 7month old! nope no arm moving, even if you can (unlikely) it increases the chance of stretching your scars xx

My nurse told me getting out & about was good for healing as it increases blood flow. I was really stiff the first few days if I sat down for too long, but as soon as I started moving around the tightness settled quite alot.

If I was you i’d try & get a bit of help for the first couple of days, you will feel so worn out & all the drugs make you feel abit fed up so good to have a bit of moral support too. Good luck xx

I was alone post op. Get everything out of cupboards, both high and low ones. Make drinks by heating water in microwave to save lifting kettle. If you buy milk only buy in 2 pint cartons. Just make eveything as light as possible for yourself, go round house with arms stuck to sides and see what you cant reach!!

I had overs and no pain, but could lift anything or move arms

    Good luck x
