I’m just researching breast augmentation at the min and it’s somthing im considering but not very lightly as i have two young children, You come across a lot of negative press on implants especially on the Internet and although this website is full of positive feedback and you have all had amazing experiences; I was just wondering if there are people out there who have had there implants for ten years plus with no problems complication ect and doesn’t regret it! I’m just thinking about the future ongoing breast augmentations then eventually one day an explantaition? X

I’ve read the first few years will be great but apparently but like a new car after a few years like 7 ish? They start to cause problems? I hope this isn’t the case with the newer implants as they are always being improved :) I’d love to have one and be 100 per cent everything would be ok then in 10 years when I’m 34 get some new ones lol, Thanx for the advice :) xx

Hiya, ive had my implants for 9 years now and touch wood i’ve never had any problems with them, i’m waiting to find out if i have the pip implants (which i think i have definatley got due to the company i went with)and will probably have them replaced if this is the case but to be honest if all this hadn’t come to light then i probably wouldnt be thinking about having them done again, i only wish i had gone slightly larger, i was an a/b cup after losing weight and wanted a d cup which i am but i’m 6ft 2″ so they dont look that big (well to me they dont anyway lol), just keeping fingers crossed now that i havent got them xx

What size implants have you got jenkins5611? I’m also 6ft2″ and having my op in may. I don’t want to go too big but want to look more in proportion, I’m 36B, size 12, athletic build at the moment .

Good luck with finding out what implants you’ve got, fingers crossed they aren’t pips. Do you mind adding me hun? It won’t let me click on your name xx

Hiya Roch, think ive just added you, not sure why you cant click my name not been on here for ages.

To be honest i’m not sure what size i had in the end, another reason why i wont be going back to the original company, all the surgeon said to me after the op was ‘you will be happy now you got your D’s’. I didnt even try any implants when i had my consultations to see if i did def want that size or not, i think they where around 200cc but looking at people on here and the sizes they had that doesn’t seem enough, but i suppose everyones body is different, hopefully i will find out soon what exactly i’ve got and the size as i would imagine any surgeon now would need to know what size if they are to be replaced i wouldnt want anything smaller, will let you know once i find out.

As the old saying goes i wish i knew then what i know now, as i would def have gone somewhere else but was quite young (only 22) and no-one i knew had them or really talked about them xx

Accepted your request hun. What company did you go with originally? Doesn’t sound very professional does it, they say 150cc is about a cup size don’t they so I’d imagine they would be bigger than 200cc but who knows. I’m thinking of going for 365cc.

What do they feel like after so many years? Do they feel like part of your own body now or still like a foreign object in there lol??

I’m 23 and have tried to do as much research. This forum has been brilliant, I’ve learned so much from talking to girls on here and seeing all the pics really helps to give you an idea of what they’ll look like after. I think some girls have them done and think they’ll look perfect straight away but I’ve found the pics on here from all stages post op really useful in showing me what to expect xx

I originally went to Harley Medical as they where the only ones i had really heard of back then.

i’d say for the first 2 or 3 weeks they didnt feel right, as they where sitting quite high up they felt like they where choking me lol, but i woke up one morning and they just felt like part of my body, and wouldnt be without them now, even after all these years they still feel normal, i did go to a surgeon a couple of years ago when i was thinking of having them redone (only to go slightly bigger) and he said because of my height and frame i could easily go twice the size i was (i remember thinking blimey, i would have peoples eyes out with them lol).

I wish there had been these forums when i was having mine done as i didnt have a clue what to say or do etc so they are very helpful, and dont let anyone try and put you off having it done, there was a couple of people i know who originally said ‘you are mad for wanting that done, i would never do that to myself’ etc, but these where the first people to ask me all about it afterwoods and want to feel them, one even said recently if she had the guts to do it she woulds have hers done.

Exactly, why feel out of proportion and conscious of having no boobs when I can change it and feel happier about myself. I won’t let anyone talk me out of it my minds made up now. Although I haven’t actually plucked up the courage to tell my parents yet as I don’t know if they would approve, especially with everything on the news at the mo about pips. I might just not say anything to save worry and arguments, I’m married and don’t live with them but I don’t see how they won’t notice so it may come out in the end lol.

I was a bit worried about them being to big but I’ve seen a lot of petite girls on here with fairly big implants and they look good so don’t think there is much danger of me looking silly when like you say tall girls can carry off whatever size really without them looking ridiculous (hopefully) xx
