anyone been cancelled with there appoimtments on the 20th april in highgate?

im so gutted , my app has been cancelled on 20th april in highgate anyone else..

Oh no that’s crap…. Have they given u a reason?? What surgeon were u having? I’m due to be there a week after hope that’s ok?!! Xxx

Oh no what a nightmare. Im getting abit worried now with people saying they’ve been cancelled. Im there on 16th. Did they say why?? xxx

whens ur date for op bethy.. im gutted been waiting ages for this day.. so im upset.. i know a wk later isnt bad but its my mums bday and husband lol great gift for my husband.. lol i will be upset if i get cancel again.. i should have money knocked off for this..

jenny yeah booked hotel. coz im travelling from shropshire down to london. and im to stay over night in hospital coz im having 700cc.. i know massive… what size u going for. i be glad to get to meet u on the 27th we have to def catch up before op if we get the chance are u stay over or are u a day case

What hotel have u booked?? I need to book one n dnt know which will b the nearest !! Wow that is big but go for it girl!! I’m not sure yet as deciding at my pre op on 7th…, either 340, 360 or 380 tho! I’m quite small n wouldn’t be able to got much more in I dnt think!! Ha def that sounds gd I know that some girls on here have to wait ages in there rooms at the hospital so at least we will have a chance to chat!! Travelling from Brighton so got to stay over n I think I’ll stay over the nite before too so I dnt have to get up so early!! Xxx

me and lisa were canceled too, different hospital and different surgeon though, your lucky they’ve given you some notice, we only had a week left, now booked in next friday xx

Really feel for you girls. I couldnt bear waiting any longer. Its doing my nut in already waiting. Glad youve got boobie buddys though so thats a consulation. Cant believe no explanation and they want your deposits so quick to ‘hold the date’!!!

Its so upsetting having this done to you isn’t it? I’m still absolutely gutted, even though my op is only 3 days later than planned. I’m the same as you Downeygirl, my boyfriend works away and it’s likely he now can’t be with me for my op. I feel like the whole experience has been spoilt for me. I used to count down the days in excitement and I’m not doing that now because I just don’t trust MYA anymore. If you look in their terms and conditions, basically they can do what they like when they like (cancel your op right at last minute) and they don’t have to give you any compensation. Whereas if we want to move our date, we have to pay them an extortionate fee to do so. It’s outrageous. They are messing with people’s lives and it’s not fair. I still have been given no reason to say why it happened to me. They just keep saying ‘unforseen circumstances’.

Lisa I know its hard to get the excitment back but guess what??? 8 SLEEPS LEFT!!!! Do you know if your allowed to walk around in the hospital, if your in on your own i could come and see you? I’m only a day case though. xx

Yeah, I’m pretty sure you can walk around Christine. I’m too scared to count sleeps or get excited incase they hit us with something else. They have assured me there won’t be any further changes though. I still haven’t had 340s confirmed with Aurakzai as he wants to fit 300s so that’s also unnerving me a bit. It’ll get sorted though. I swear, if he turns up next Friday with even more of a tan than he’s naturally got, I will be asking if his holiday was nice and making him feel very guilty for cancelling on us! x

I got my letter today confirming date and hospital etc… xx

Yes downeygirl we should def arrange to meet…. I’ll b a bag of nerves too n as much as I love my bf he won’t be going thru what we r on the day!! Hi I have just had a second consultation with Mr F and he has also cancelled my 11th op date, now the 16th April.. Gutted as I have arranged time off, help with kids etc.. Can they just do that with just an apologie?? X
