anyone been on their period while havin surgery?

im a bit wooried i started my period yesterday n hav my op on wednesday!! i know it mite sound stupid but does it affect my surgery????

i’m due on my period anytime soon and my op is Tuesday, some1 said they just give you cotton knickers instead of paper ones but i’m not sure x

oh good i started to panic lol dont want nufin to stop me from havin my surgery xx

i was due on the day before, i told the nurse i’d rather keep my cotton knickers on, with a pantiliner, than wear their paper knickers and be fretting all day, she said that was fine. If i were you i’d let the nurse know but i’m sure it wont be an issue, not sure if you’d be able to wear a tampon though xx

i had mine and it was fine..just not alowed to wear a tampon needs to be a pad x

I wore tampax, they said they’d rather I didn’t but I said well i’d RATHER I did 😯 she never asked me to remove it after that lol. xxx

Lol, I was, nurse gave me these massive cotton boxer short horrible thingsn said to use a padxx doesn’t effect surgery at all xx
