Anyone been to Preston or Rochfield Hospital???

Hi all…I have my consultation with surgeon a week today…If all goes well and i decide to go with MYA I live in Liverpool so have the choice of Preston or Rochdale, has anyone been either of these if so can you give me any informaiton please??? Thanks xx

Hey i haf my op in march at preston first trust hospital.

Its absolutely lovely! Its like a little white cottage set in its own grounds.

When ur inside its like a hotel, except the door that says theatre!! Haha.

All of the staff are lovely. The putty to sleep man in a right misery and was a bit sharp with mr. Part from that cannot fault it!!

Out my window in my room i could see loads of fields and things and a big peacock

I had Preston in July, it was fab!! I can’t fault it one bit!! The staff were brilliant!! Just echoing fairy really lol xx

I was at Rochdale last wed it was fab n nurses were lovely. The room was lively. Apart from one staff member but was fine I loved it xx

I was at rochdale and it was great, very helpful friendly staff. No problems at all, well except over priced drinks for friend staying with me!

i was at preston monday hun and it was really nice, lovely room with a spacious en suite just what you need the food was ok too better than what you expect from a hospital and you are well looked after – people always coming in checkin on you before and after op!

ok so gd comments on both… thank you all very much helps alot! Preston is a bit closer to my home, and as I want to be a day case this would be better aswell for my lovely mum driving me home thank-you xx
