Anyone else??

Ive paid my deposit and booked my ba for 6th jan…for 2 days running I’ve been contacted by mya call centre to see if I “want to settle my balance early to help me out with it coming upto Xmas?!” I don’t know what Xmas has to do with owt as 3500 quid is a lot of money to cough up early at any time of the year! I find this really odd as my balance is due on 11th nov anyway, I just think it’s a sneaky way of trying to get our money early!! Anyone else had this?

I don’t have to pay my balance till 2 days before my op I am not going with mya though, but it does sound strange why they asking you for all the money now. X x

Rake some cash in b4 end of month lol. I’d much rather it be earning interest

gemma555 ive had this 2. ive said ill deff b able 2 pay my outstandin balance on oct 31st, when i get my cheque. but they keep ringin me to c if i can pay it b4. so frustrating! n i av 2 pay my balance 42 days b4 apparently which is y my op is booked on 13 dec! my pc said it used to b 21 days b4, now its 42 xx

Yeah me too I’ve had about 5 missed calls today while at work. Finally I called back to see what was wrong and they gave me the same jargon about Xmas etc yeah 6 or 8 weeks before mine has to be paid on 20th of nov. bloody hell I hope I don’t get this every day?!!

Tell them to stop harrassing you! I’d go mad!! I’m 4 weeks po on Monday n it was 21 days wen I booked mine in august, it’s changed quick!xxx

It were hard not to sound rude after 2nd time round, I just said I’ll pay when it’s due its soon enough as it is…there cheeky beggers xxx

on the letter i got when i paid my deposit, it said that the full balance has to b paid 56 days in advance!! but im stickin 2 the 42 days, n hope once ive paid i get a cancellation slot! xx

I also had calls about the balance,I think 3-4 calls,I have cleared my balance now,was just a case of getting 5 mins to go to my bank.I was told balance to be paid 21 days before op but when called up they said 52 days before op….I didn’t even have 52 days before mine is booked.Was a bit off putting as felt like they thought I wasn’t going to pay or something but all done now.They said that it has changed from the 21 days to the 52 days very recently so god knows girls!Ask your pc she will know xx

I just looked at my paperwpork it states payment in full 21days before op.

I paid in full on the 15/6/11 and had my BA on 6/7/11… so did pay in full 21 days before the BA.

I wud defo not be impressed if it was me.

how cheeky! yeah get your pc on the blower and see whats going on. Ive gotta say they arent great at stuff like this. The day after my op they called me to ask if i wanted to go for my first consultation as they see i had requested information last summer lol!! a little late, donuts!!
