You can develop dvt upto month after surgery I’ve read, its unlikely with ba as your only put to sleep for just over an hour tho. I got told 2 weeks too and then at bed time after that lol. But I’ve kept them on solidly I’m 12 days po now. Nurse says asking as I’m moblie I can remove them but I don’t wana coz I’m too paranoid lol xx

I was hun, but bethy was at parkhill 2, although she left the next day as she was ill and her nurse said 48hr. It’s prob every nurse says differnt. Wen I went to see nurse at Leeds at 6 days po she said it wud be fine to remove them as I was mobile xx

Can’t believe u were told 2 weeks! I’ve had a blood clot in my artery before (pregnancy related) and I was just told to keep mine on til I was up and about, so basically a couple of days! If uve no medical issues as long as ur moving around and keep a little bit active you’ll be ok. X
