anyone else take their own tape off at 4 days post op? xx

Hi nikki, I am healing ok so far thankyou. My boobs are bigger than I expected though they feel really heavy I feel like if I take the tape off they might just fall off haha! But its so restrictive xx

I took mine off myself on day 4 huni, use a hair dryer on a medium setting as this helps the tape come off easier. You imagine it to hurt like a plaster but the hair dryer really helps so little to no pain. It was a relief as i felt like i had an incredible hulk chest trying to break through the tape!! lol

Hahaha mine are so heavy I just feel like they might just drop off lol!xx

Every time i took my macom off i thought they were gonna drop off. They still feel like it sometimes now and i’m 3 weeks PO tomorrow

I’ve been walking with a hunchback crampy told me I should make myself a boobie hammoch to carry them around in haha! Xx

definatly consult with your nurse!! mine had given me a rash and even cut my skin! so had to have taken off on 5th day

The nurse told me on Day 1 that i could remove it after 4 days. Glad i did because it was hurting under my arms rather than my boobs.

A boobie hammock sounds great, we should patent that on go on Dragons Den

Haha yeahh … Do your boobs feel even heavier without the tape? I’m having a really bad night tonight and I can’t stand how heavy they feel my icisions are hurting now too xx

Reg I had my op monday morning and took mine off Thursday midday and my husband said my day four would of been Friday but mine are fine just aslong as ya keep a support bra, macam best as holds them together bit like the tape really just feel better without all the sticky stuff!! Go for it chick xxxxxx 😆

Oh and no one even told me I could take it off!!! just one of the Girls on here said day four is fine so just went for it couldnt stand having in on any longer….fully expect to get told off by nurse on Tues but oh well xxx

You won’t Cragroo, just as long as u wear Macom like u said.

reg, They won’t always feel that heavy, that was when my boobie blues set in cos they just felt so huge and I thought I can’t live with these!!! It will all settle soon, all what ur feeling including the noises Cragroo. I had my concerns but all the girls on here reassured me these things were normal and they were right xx

If I had my op 10pm wednesday should I wait until late tonight to take my tape off? Or can I do it now? Hehe xx

Cheers Chellebelle feel better for that, mine are killing me today as I stupidly changed bra and went out for a bit had to come home and put Macom on felt awfull but feel better now macam back on. So girls make sure ya not as daft as me keep it on xxxx
