Anyone found it a long process to get depoist back?

I decided to cancel my op, due to needing the money for other things right now,

I will deffo get it done when I’m more financially able !

It’s taking me forever to get my money back, some confusion as I have paid part cash part 2 cards.

My pc said I needed to send her over all card details as they don’t keep the card details on file& I had explained that I’ve recently lost both cards so the long card number would not be the same, she explained that she would have to speak to the finance department and would get back to me! I called yesterday to talk to the manager & the manager was not there!!

Just feel like when I am financially able to go ahead with the op, all this plava has put me off returning to MYA! Has anyone had this problem or have any tips for me?? Xxx

I had this issue! Although its your money you just have to keel chasing them up and make sure the people you’re dealing with have got the right info. With my situation, the PC apparently “thought” that I meant I wanted to postpone my op when I had actually said I wanted to refund my deposit all together – so until I called them up several times to correct the misunderstanding I would have not got my money back and she probably would have called back asking what date I wanted to go for instead!

Also, make a note of all the calls you make and put it all in writing. It’s just a way of keep a log of what’s been said and by who etc.

Hopefully this helps and you get refunded back ASAP!

Keep chasing and chasing them every day. In my opinion mya will fob you off; they are not well organised. I would be ringing and emailing them every day til you get it back x

I will wait untill about 3 for my promised call back from the manager then I will chase them myself. This has been going on since the start of September!! I really need it back now!

If I don’t get answers today I will really consider going else where when I want my BA!!! XXx
