I think it may be the anti biotics causing it, just adds to the discomfort! x

Pour cold water over your bits every so often hunn and wear very loose knickers or even your fellas boxers with loadsa canestan. That should help. I’m ok hunn, still swollen but much better went out to my post op today, went for a meal and shopping after. Glad your doing well :) xx

Hi girls, yes thrush is caused by anti-biotics, I was lucky and didn’t get it after op but last year I had thrush when I took anti-biotics for chest infection. Unfortunately it’s a side-effect. Best thing you can do to rid it is drink plenty of water and cranberry juice…I was better in no time at all xxx

Lol khanni, I’m slimmer now than I was b4 my kids lacey is 5months old n the weight just keeps dropping off me. Think its cuz I have no time to eat haha. Dreading when my mum goes bk 2 work n I’m left with her on my own. Picking her up ect after my op. Hope ill be ok xx

Eek. Cheers for the heads up girls! Its threads like these that make this forum so amazin, haha xx

I know what you mean sandy4, I am thinner now than before I had my kids too. its all the running around. My mum has been looking after my 2 since I had my op on Thursday and she’s like “Now I know why you’re so thin, you don’t have time to eat!”

I am prepared for thrush to arrive ladies, I had it a week before my op too which was a pain! My mother-in-law (who tells me things I really don’t want to hear from my mother-in-law) always tells me, EVERY TIME I’m on anti biotics that it can cause thrush and that putting natural yoghurt on my bits will relieve the itching 8O. I have to say, I can’t bring myself to try it, but if the itching gets bad, ladies, ou might want to give it a go 😆

Tiara wot size were u pre and post op, n wot implants did u have? Have u managed 2 see ur wee ones? I rly wanna kno how long it’ll b b4 I can pick my youngest up again, my oldest is 4 so she’s no bother atall xx

I was an empty 34b pre op, but had alot of my own breast tissue as I was a full D before I had my 2 children. I had 260 overs with an uplift and am now in a 34D sports bra.

My mum is staying at our house so I do see them. As you say, my 3 year old understands that I can’t lift him up, but my 1 year old still reaches out to me. It is breaking my heart not being able to lift her, but I just can’t. I am hoping that this time next week I will be able to. I make sure that I have them both on my knee often for cuddles. I think if you’re just having implants you may be able to lift your little one up sooner, especially because she’s so young and not so heavy?? (maybe?!)

Some of these posts are so funny! Regards the thrush yep i also got it at 4 weeks post op. But first i had to endure an abnormally heavy period causing me to practiclly camp on the toilet!! There are so many knock on effects that can be caused by the GA :(

Looking forward to being 100% me :)

thunderkiss – you best hope your constipated if your fellas on flushing duties! 😆

My aunty lost loads of weight after having kids too, i’m planning on having mine in 5 years once i get settled, buy a house and get myself a good few years experience as a social worker. until then i guess just one more jammy dodger won’t hurt 😉

I get water infections all he time too, i’ve been sent to specialists and had cameras put into my kidneys and bladder! awful. but nothing, it’s just one of them things some of us are blessed with. i take a cranberry extract pill a day and that helps with drinking a lot of water everyday.

    xx
