hi going for my first consultation at sardinia house london on monday was wondering if anyone has been or is going there?
Hi. I have been before and will be going again for pre op next week x
what was it like there and who did u see? i bet you are excited when r u going? x
I went there about a month ago now have my op next friday! The girls there are lovely and its not intimidating at all. Really comfortable atmosphere and not on the main street
x
I went there for my pre and post op appointments. Nice place and really easy to get there. If your driving there’s spaces pretty much right outside x
It’s small but nice. The doorman and all the girls there are really friendly. My pc is Nadja and she’s great, very helpful. My surgeon is Dr Singh, he is a lovely man
My pre op is next thursday with the nurse x
I have been there twice! I thought Id be like a fish out of water there but the girls on reception are always helpful and my PC amanda is really lovely!
Its got nice leather sofas and very spacious.
Its right near holborn Station. Are you from around london??Xx
chelly i bet you are really excited x
fairydust is there a car park then or is it just spaces near? x
hehe really excited but also nervous!! I’ve never met anyone with a BA before! x
April i live in colchester essex I was thinking of driving there but never driven in or around london the closest i have been is lakeside lol so little nevous about the drive and parking situation and stuff. i take it the PC i see on monday will be with me on my journey with MYA? XX
CELLY I BET YOU ARE NEVOUS im nevous and not even anywhere near getting it done yet the thought off sitting in the room waiting for them to come and get me to take me to surgery terrifies me now and like i said im only going to my first appoinment on monday lol but they say no pain no gain!!!!! that is what i keep telling myself anyway lol x
There’s no Mya carpark. Basically there’s a square and you can park all around the square and then pay at a metre. It’s about £4.50 per hour from memory but still cheeper than train and underground tickets. (It also takes cards). Plus you walk about 1 minute and ya there. Lot longer walk from station. (Me being lazy) lol x
thank u fairydust u have made me feel better i was imagineing me driving round for hours lol missing my appointment x
Sardina house is on a dead end, don’t think there’s spaces right outside (well disabled spaces) but I park just opposite they are pay and display free after half 6.
My second apt cost me 60 quid as I bloody forgot to pay congestion so don’t forget tht!
I stupidly done a U turn where it clearly says no U turn but didn’t get a fine for that luckily- impatience got the better of me, the parking-conjestion people might as well set up a direct debit for me ! Xxx
lol april that will be me i swear im dreading driving around london. I take it that they dont actully do the operation there then as seeing everyonne going on about highgate????? xx
Yeah that’s just the consultation clinic, I’ve not had mine done yet, sept 2012. A long way away but I’m paying off for it before I get it done, I have no idea where highgate is!!! got a feeling it might be in north London though!
Aww good luck!!! Let us know who you get as your PC! Xxx
also can u take children with u to these appointments??? x
