ANYONE GONE SMALLER THAN THE BIGGEST THEY WERE OFFERED?…

and been happy they did?

So confused girls. 6 wks til my op n having all diff opinions! Most of u girls say i shud go biggest am offered (380) including my PC Julie & nurse, Mr Traynor says he wud tell me to get smallest (300) if he cud, and my friends think i shud go medium (340)!!! 😯

Ive seen pics of 340s n to me they look huge! Stil dnt understand y ive bin offered 380s wen am such a small frame, but mayb cz am quite tall (bout 5’6.5)?

I no theres not a huge difference between 340 & 380 but am still wondering if anyone at all has gone smaller than the biggest they were offered and been relieved they did?!

Cz all i keep getting told by PC is tht ppl hav only ever wished they’d gone bigger, never smaller..

hi tashak, i was offered 230, 260, 300, 340 (between two surgeons) when i asked for small c to full c. im 5’5, 8.5st and size 8-10. it was really hard in the beginning. it really depends what look you’re after hun. and as much as all advises we get on here are all good honest intentions, at the end of the day its what you really want for yourself, do you wana look big, round, slope, natural? so many things to consider. sometimes we wana look big on a night out with our nice low cut dress, or on a summer holiday with those sexy bikinis. but sometimes we might want them not too much in the way when we go to the gym or run around shopping.

i originally wanted 260 before my consultation, then i decided 300 and i almost gone for 340 a week before the op. it was so confusing as i didnt want to regret going too small or going too big. ive looked at every photo i can to compare, some girls have same frame as me but they have more breast tissue to start with so no guarantee mine will turn out like theirs. finally i had to stop looking and sit down and just be realistic and although im so grateful with the girls help on here and advises end of the day ur the only one who knows ur body well enough and what will look good, it might not feel that way when theres too many options in front of you. but believe me u have the answers just dig in a little deeper.

and to answer your question lols (finally), i went smaller 260cc unders, and im extremely happy i did! they look like theyre mine. im filling in an M&S sports bra 34D at moment, 2nd day post op. we’ll see changes in next coming weeks. but im really pleased wth my decision.

and purely out of curiousity i asked mr Kazzazi whats the biggest size he can put in if we really push it, he said 380cc but they wont look natural on me. xx

thanx so much for ur msg hun. i totally agree, my nurse sed to me the other wk as great as the forums r, sometimes u need to jst block it all out n think this is wot ive bin offered, n wot do i want. my friends say the same, tht other ppl dnt no wot u wanna achieve or no wot ur body is like.

the interesting thing is my surgeon never asked me wot i wanted to end up with, so i dnt think i even no myself! originally i jst wanted to balance out with my bottom half, cz i hav hips n a bum, but my torso is long n i hav a tiny waist n back, so wanted more of an hour glass than pear shape! also i want the main difference without clothes not with clothes. n like u saying some occasions wen u want them bigger than others so i thought if u go smaller u can make them look bigger, but not other way round. so originally was gonna go 300!

but then my PC was adamant they wud b too small, so i decided on 340. n nw she saying tht if am torn between 340 n 380 then i shud go 380 cz theres not a lot in it & mr traynor wudnt hav offered them if they werent gna suit my body..

gut instinct is tht theyl b too big tho.

wen ive seen pics of girls tht look like theyve only had smallish ones, but tht hav small frames like me, i rly like the look of it, rather than ones tht r quite big.

but at same time i rly dnt wana regret one way or the other, like ure saying!

Yeh,my surgeon said I cud go bigger than what I chose. He recommended 340cc’s to achieve the look I wanted. I went with 380cc…just to be sure

But he also offered 410cc and on the day said he coulda fit up to 500cc! That is neither here nor there tho as wasnt the look I was going for.

My op was only last week but im defo glad I didnt go bigger and im sure I woulda been happy with the 340cc’s aswell. Still early days for me tho! Xx

c isnt tht so weird. i dnt get y ive bin offered 380 at all! i no my pc is saying it down to loads of factors, tissue, skin, hips, blah blah, but still dnt get it!

I was a 34B (in la senza) so prob a 34A and wanted to achieve a small D. Im currently fitting a 34DD,but once the swelling goes down I think i’l have achieved my 34D

Something that really helped me decide was taking ‘before’ photos of myself. U might be surprised how different they look to in the mirror! I realised I was smaller than the girls I was comparing myself to and thus bumped my size up to 380cc. Xx

that is so true thunderkiss, i looked at girls before pics and i went im definitely bigger than that, then when i took my own pic, i was even smaller!!!!!

ure totally right hun i took a pic of me to c the other wk n cudnt believe how small i actually am! think u jst get used to wot uve got! am probs similar before size & top half shape to hollymarie, dunno if uve seen her pics she had 340 unders n they suit her perfectly but she is much tinier on bottom half n much shorter than me. so then i think mayb i need the extra bit as am taller n quite curvy on bottom, grrrr so confusing xx

To be honest you’l prob end up changing ur mind until time is up! I did n I think most do. I think the rice test is a bunch of bollocks tho,i wouldnt bother factoring that into your decision tbh. Xx

tashak, i wish i still got the link the other girls posted on here, the sizes of MHP CUI allergan. what i rem cos its mine 260 and 300 have the same projection but only 0.5 diff in diameter. so between 300 and 340 its not a lot probably another 0.5 in diameter……yea holymaries nice ones, check out rachael23 too she went for 380 (i think) but didnt look huge on her. x

i was offered 525cc overs or 460cc overs……and 410cc unders, dr signh recommended me the 410cc on my figure. I looked silly with the 525cc. I did like the 460cc overs but he sed as i had little tissue you would see the implant rippling.

so im going for the 410cc unders aiming for a d-dd

Hey tash babe!! Personally i think 340 will be fab for u. Im very stretched at the mo and im bigger than u. I had380 as u know. I think if ur hollymaries size.th 340s will look great. I am currently a 32d me and my bf couldnt resist trying a bra on yest to see what size i was.

I think if u choose a size forget the other sizes were mentioned!!

Traynor wont offer anything that wint match ur body size!! He told.me if i wanted bigger to go to someone else!!

U have a brill surgeon he is lush!! He totally go me through the day like xxx

Thunder she had unders hun!! They looked so like mine do at the mo pointy!! When she first had them done and now they are fab!!! Cant wait for mine to look like hers!!

Hi Tashak, I was deciding between a 340/380 unders, we have pretty similar stats by the sound of it! I was so troubled as to which size to go for, I had both sizes available on the day and decided to go with the 380! I’m only 5 days post op but I’m looking a good size – not too huge and fake but filling a nice sports bra now

I found it easiest to think to myself would I prefer te end up a little bigger or smaller than I would have wanted? I decided I woul prefer to get used to being a little bigger than regretting a little too small!

However, try not to feel pressurised by what the nurses and other people say, I did find that everyone said 380 as most people wish they has gone bigger!

I’ll take some after pics n show u before and afters if you want? Let me know anyway, I know how tough the decision is!! xxx

Hi, I had 340’s and think they look great, but i do have a little rippling, they were the biggest i was offered but rippling was never mentioned.

Ive had a rough couple days. Just tight skin amd muscle has been aching like ive been to the gym too mch lol…wouldnt say its pain i would say its just very uncomfortable!! Esp in the morning! Butbworth evry thing i keep looking at my minging before.picsand that makes me feel better lol xx

Hey hun. Im in the same boat. I was offered 380’s and 410’s and then yesterday surgeon said 410’s is the absolute max and he would recommend just going for 380’s. However had my heart set on 410’s so going for them. I’d rather be bigger than be disppointed when I woke up. Im also having unders xxx

Hi, i would always go for the biggest my surgeon offered me since majority of surgeons like to play it safe by offering probably what is a smaller size than could fit you, as the bigger the implant generally the more risks are involved. Usually only after you insist on a bigger size, will they give you it which shows that they can fit bigger than they originally say. One surgeon offered me 260 as the biggest and the other said 415cc would be a better size for me. If i had just seen the first surgeon and decided on smaller than 260cc i would have been very unhappy indeed! I guess it just depends on what you want personally though and if your surgeons offers you something you aren’t comfortable with then you shouldn’t go for it. The implants do look smaller once they are actually inside your body as opposed to at the consultation when you try them in a bra and don’t forget just because 340 looked huge on someone else, that it will on you, it is also surprising how quickly you get used to your new boobs, they start appearing smaller lol xx

hi tash this was a great thread to start puts my mind at rest i had 415cc insipra unders last wednesday mr adamo said i could go bigger but i just wanted to fill my bras and wanted a natural look everyones shape is unique and sometimes u can drive yourself crazy looking at other girls pics theres all shapes and sizes i thought 415 at first would be to big but they dont look hugh i just want them to drop but glad i didnt go any bigger im only 5ft2″ this forum is great for suport and i would not know what to do without it good luck in your dicision hun i have a love hate relationship with my boobs at mo but its early days and glad its all done xxx

Hi Hunn, dr traynor said I could go as big as I wanted and I opted for 345/385 which took me from a C to a DD even though I measure bigger. Implants always measure bigger than they look. Picking the size is the hardest part but I’m happy with what I’ve got xx

I did, I was offered 300 / 340 or I could have gone bigger if I wanted but I wanted a natural look and for people not be be able to tell… I went for 300’s on the day but was thinking of 260 and 340’s the week before! I am SOOO pleased with the result and think any bigger would have given me the fake look which I didn’t want plus the 340 would have given me the roundness at the top. I’m 6 weeks p/o on Wednesday but went and got measured this weekend – in La Senza 32D/DD depending on the bra and in Debinhams a 32DD but don’t look this size.. But should wear a 30 back but nowhere seems to stock a large selection.

Good thread but I’m even more confused now myself. Suggestion by my surgeon have been 320-380cc low profile unders but after seeing the 380 high profiles (Thunders… yours are awesome!)I’m not sure what size or profile to go for. Aaarrrggghhhhh! 😆

louise urs look fab hun, if i was getting overs i wud deffo hav gone 300. tht was originally wot i was gonna get wasnt even gonna consider 340 or 380! cz i jst wanted nice, rounded shape but smallish ones! then my PC put me off and also got carried away looking at glamour models which i think was stupid.

the thing ive found is everyones look perfect for their bodies which is why i was interested if everyone had jst gone for biggest n thts wot looks best…

I’m a 34a I got offered 410 overs the biggest decided on 380’s having op on the 18th of april will let you no how pleased I am haha! Xx

At my initial consultation with Mr Adamo, I was offered 460cc straight away, but felt they looked huge!!!! He then showed me 410cc which i still thought were too big, so asked for the next size down which was 380cc I am very happy with my decision to go with the smaller implants, as i have gone from a 34B to 34E BUT after saying that, the 460 is only about half a cup size bigger than the 380 but i may have ended up a 34F !!! X

Tasha, I was offered 340s and 380s and I chose 340s. Had my op last Tuesday so exactly a week ago. I had unders and very pleased with the result but kind of wished I’d chosen 380s because I wanted to be a D cup and I’ve only turned out a C. From an empty B cup. I know everyone says unders fluff but when its yourself you can’t help worry that they won’t. Especially when your surgeon says they won’t grow any bigger. And I’m slightly swollen at the mo so I’d be gutted if they got smaller!

I’d definately choose 380s. It’s amazing how quick you get used to them and I look no different in clothes from when I used to wear a gel bra. x

lisam – rly hun? well after looking at fairy’s the 380’s deffo dont look as huge as i thought. also after reading a few girls who had 340s went up to C but wanted to be a D am starting to think ure right & maybe i shud go for 380s as i think i wud be disappointed with a C even tho it might be right for my shape..

Ive also realized how tall i am and how long my torso is in comparison with my bottom half and how out of proportion i rly am even tho my friends always used to say my booms suited my figure… they dont!!

I wear gel bras all the time too and ones that are meant to take you up a couple sizes and they look great but would like them still bigger than that esp if am gonna go through it all!

So yeh maybe i should be looking at the 380s..

I was offered 300 as a first but told i could have a 340… I decided in the end to go with 340… it’s true what you said, it’s so easy to get caught up in what everyone else has and what their results have been but at the end of the day everybody is different and you have to put your trust in your surgeon… he wouldn’t offer the sizes that he didn’t feel right for you… the best thing to do would be to bring some pictures of what you do what them to look like and what you don’t want them to look like…

I’m still only 2 days post op and the 300s look quite full but are still quite alien as they haven’t settled yet…

I’m just happy that they are not the same boobs as before…

Thanks hun, I am tall 5’7 so was told that I could carry it off going bigger but I was so worried about going big that I thought the 300s might be pushing it but I SO happy with them and now a D/DD. Defo go back and try the implants on again and take pics and speak to your surgeon and tell him what you do / don’t want so he knows exactly the look you are after…

I honestly think that its resonable to choose the smaller implant rather than the biggest they were offered to avoid complications that can happen with the bigger impants shoud they be chosen..
