Anyone had a re-op? Advice needed….

Having a re-op at 8 months post op. My scars are now fully healed and white and my boobs have settled.

Just wondering what the recovery is like second time round?

And Im really really worried about the scars!! Will they slice the same area and how will they heal? As Im having implants removed I think my scars will be longer

Any advice much appreciated xx

I’ve been thinking the same hun, although I’ve been told my surgeon will go through the same scar. Did you get sorted yesterday? X

I’ve had my pre-op date (next Thursday) and just waiting for my op date to be confirmed as 31st May!

I had a re op at around 7/8 months post op. It was seriously a breeze. I felt if I wanted to I could’ve done everything I would be doing previous to the op. I had no pain and didn’t feel restricted with lifting my arms etc. It was hard not doing things like lifting my son, I had to keep reminding myself I had just had an op. If I wasn’t frightened of splitting the stitches I would’ve been fine lifting him. X

With regards to the scars, I think they cut the whole original scar out then just sew it back together afterwards, if you get what I mean xx

Yeah I’ll be ok, jus gonna leave em covered up. Not peeking this time either! I’ve stocked up on all vitamins n everythin so don’t get infected! Av u thought of a size yet xxx

Thinking of keeping the same diamater but just going up in projection.

When I look in the catalogues the xhp in my diamater are 400 and 445 but they project more than what I have now.

It’s all so confusing x

Just spoke to Lauren and apparently they are still waiting on head office for some dates and he will chase it up. Really hope this gets sorted without me havin to chase them! X

I think Im having mine at Preston 31st May but Im still waiting for confirmation(!!)

I’m not actually sure, I hope so and Lauren said they were just waiting to get the papers back from them so they better have bloomin agreed it! Can’t imagine they would say no though if my surgeon has agreed to it surely?! I’m hoping I will be able to have it at Preston too, I had my original op there and it was lovely, plus it’s only half an hour away from where I live so it’s alot easier than anywhere else x

Sorry didn’t mean to worry you. Yeah if your surgeon’s agreed to re-op then I can’t see there being a problem.

I was in such a flap when Lizzie rang yesterday I can’t remember whether she said she had booked me in for the 31st or whether she’d let me know. I’ve emailed her anyways to check – but Im being impatient as usual.

I need to get the time off at work tho!
