I’m 8 days post op and secreting milk from one nipple, not loads, but a little, and it’s annoying and painful. I had a bigger implant in this side as the breast was smaller. It’s sitting very high and swollen compared to my left boob, and of course, now the milk. I think it’s fairly normal from what I’ve read, but it hurts a bit every time it happens, and it’s making my MaCom dirty. I’m going to try cabbage leaves in my bra.

People keep saying ooh it'[s possible but it’s rare unless you’ve had a baby/ recently breast fed. Well I haven’t :/ Anyone else had this happen?

I’ve not had anything like that so far but I do remember someone else posting about it not that long ago, the nurse or surgeon had told her it was nothing to worry about – she’d never had children xx

yup u will of remembered me posting it lol i crapped my pants when this happened.

the implants r pushing against the ducts and squeezing it out and yes its very sore, wot ever u do dont squeeze it out n assume it will eventually just run out like i did hahaha cant u tell ive never had kids :/ lol yeah it hurts think milk coming out lasted about a week and a half maybe 2 but took a little longer for the soreness to stop. i still have swollen nips but there not too bad now n nearly back to normal i think. u can buy maternity breast pads from boots. i used them and it alos helped to give the rounded look n not have cone nipples lol xxx

Thanks Leanne, glad it isn’t just me :) I bought the pads actually as a precaution before the BA lol, good job i did.

Speak to your nurse but I think this is a normal reaction. Xx
