Anyone had drains???

Im booked to have Dr Kazzazi and hear he uses drains. Can anyone tell me anything about them? How long they in for? Do they hurt? Can you feel them in? x

hi,i had drains, i had them in wen i woke up from surgery, and they were removed the next morning at 9am before i went home as i was an overnight case. they dont hurt but they feel abit uncomfy wen they are removed, a bit like a pulling sensation, nothing major so i wouldnt worry,i couldnt feel them in but wen they removed i felt better as i could go to the loo without lugging the drains around, your be fine xx

I HAD MR KAZZAZI NEARLY 8 MONTHS AGO AND HAD DRAINS, AS BEFORE YES THEY ARE UNCOMFORTABLE TO COME OUT BUT ITS A MOMENT THATS ALL AND AS I UNDERSTAND THEY ARE A GOOD THING WHEN YOU HAVE HAD A BOOB OP SO DONT WORRY X

Hiya i had mr kazzazi and drains they were fine, althought the stupid nurse forgot to turn them on so as mr kazzazi was leavin he checked up on every1 and realised my drains were off then when he turned them on it really hurt it just felt really tight on my chest, i got used to it and i was fine i didnt feel much when the nurse took them out again. and dont be scred when you see the bags full of red liquid its not blood its just the stuff they use in the op xxxx
