anyone had liposuction or laser lipo?

boobs r done, on to the next procedure haha. has anyone had lipo or laser lipo? how much does it hurt and cost? i want so many areas done like tummy, arms, bum and thighs!!! how much is it an area? thanks girls x

Hi girls, I’m going for upper body lipo at the end of 2011/beginning of 2012. It’s meant to be a lot more painful than say a BA but not unbearable. Laser lipo is less intrusive I’m probably getting that on my tummy. I’m going overseas as lipo can go very wrong and I want a specialist (from my research most specialists are based overseas in countries where surgery is more common) lipo can leave you with rippling and unevenness so it’s not to be taken lightly. A lot of patients are unhappy post op so do your research I’m in THR sane boat as you Sara, boobs done now I’m ready for lipo x

what is the difference between lipo and laser lipo? I know, i’m a dumbass lol xx

khanni – where r u going for it? i wasnt sure if myas surgeons specialise in lipo? i think some of my areas like my extremely fat arms, legs and bum would need something more effective than laser lipo x

It was either the us, Tijuana Mexico, or Dubai. Dubais the nearest so I’m going to dr Toledo probably he’s a world renowned specialist in lipo and fat transfer. I’m getting full upper body minus arms as my arms are thin. He’s been doing it for decade. While I’m there I’m going to get some of the fat injected into the area under my eyes but I’m not 100% on that yet xx

I wouldn’t get it with Mya it’s a few grand per area which I was shocked at seeing as they don’t even do it in a hospital and girls, NEVER allow an inexperienced surgeon to lipo the area directly under your bum, it’s called the ‘banana roll’ lol it’ll look good for a few years then your bum will sag and droop as all the support is gone x

My friend went for full body lipo and fat transfer to the bum in Mexico it cost her £3500. She looks like Kim kadashian now the bitch! Lol it’s cheap not because the Drs are crap or anything but because the pound is worth a lot over there. Lipo was pioneered over in brazil so it’s not like they don’t know what they’re doing. But it’s something that requires a lot of research and planning. Dr Toledo is expensive it’ll probably cost me over 6k plus travel etc. I’ll post pics x

I have been for a consultation for laser lipo with Dr Kingdon on my chin, he said the results will be dramatic.

I have been quoted £2,250 for that one area and I think if you want another area done it’s about £400 ish extra.

However, I am having my boobs done and I have been offered ‘normal’ lipo on my chin at the same time as I get my boobs done, I will get £1k off taking both procedures down to about £4,950.

Laser lipo you will recover much quicker apparently which is why I am prefering that option.

Laser lipo works well on small areas like the chin and not a lot can go wrong when it’s a small area. Good luck for your procedure Hunn.

I’m 4weeks post op from laser lipo on my tummy with MYA. Didn’t hurt, just felt very weird. Got post op checkup in 2 weeks. Initial results seem good as tummy defo flatter – but still feels lumpy and a bruised to touch – can take months for swelling and healing to complete apparently. Im hoping very much that tummy smoothes out as obviously I wasn’t looking for a lumpy uneven look! If it doesn’t smoothe out I will be absolutely gutted for spending so much money and will defo be getting MYA to sort it out/compensate! X

Hi becky, the good thing with mya is that if you’re not happy they will correct it free of charge, let’s say the missed a section or you want more fat out. I’m still lumpy too – but I know it is swelling as it’s hard, rather than soft fatty tissue! x
