Not too bad babe just a bit tender! How are you? I’m not finding sleeping too bad have you got a V Pillow? My surgeon didn’t actually tell me I needed to sleep upright but I’m not going to do anything to make this swelling any worse it’s bad enough as it is!

Read on here that as long as your boobs are above your waist and your head is above your boobs you’re fine so maybe try just sleeping at an angle rather than fully upright?

@ferdejen Ive added you – I havent got any pics up yet. I taken pre – ops and have a couple of post ops so will put them up as soon as.

@misslmorgan – Im not too bad either!! But I have been on the co-codomal lol! I havent got a V Pillow but Ill see if I can get someone to grab me on if it helps? Im currently sleeping at a slant with 8 pillows and have been dreaming of sleeping in the foetal position. Ive read some girls sleep normally straight away but I dont want to do anything that hadnt been recommended by my surgeon.

Yeh my Nurse said i dont have to sleep upright but definitely at an angle for 2 weeks – reason being you dont want to dislodge the implant. I think its just a case of making sure they settle where they are supposed to.

I had consultations at MYA and Transform but decided to go with Transform – Dr Clarke. My consultation at MYA was with Traynor. I was medium B – he said and I had 460 Overs. Im now in a 32F. How about you? xx Sorry for the essay but excited to speak to someone in the exact same situation lol xx

I had mine yesterday with dr adamo i had 310 partials xhp. Hating sleep upright to, passed out when i got home last night but nurse said my blood pressure was low, feeling really sore and bruised from ribs, side boobs and my back x

Hi stacey. Sorry to hear that but glad you’re ok! Yeh my back the same day and next day was worse than the pain in my boobs! But now on day 3 my back pain is still there but boob pain is worse! Started to get sharp pains under my arms and boobs alternately. My nurse recommended Arnica 6c which is for bruising xxx

Simmy haha tell me about it, I’m just dying to speak to people who are at the same stage, so reassuring to hear someone is going through the same thing as me!

I had my surgery at the Nuffield which is local to me, I didn’t feel like travelling and my surgeon was so lovely and put me so at ease that I didn’t feel the need to have any other consultations. I was a medium B/small C, had 260/300cc overs (slight asymmetry) and am currently wearing a 34D sports bra but hoping to end up a 32D after the swelling/bruising has gone down!

My V pillow is amazing so comfy I would definitely get one! I’ve been using it before my BA cos I love it so much lol think it might be a permanent addition to my bed! Only £10 from Argos – bargain!

I’ve stopped taking the co-drydamol they gave me for tonight cos it kept putting me to sleep, taking paracetamol and ibuprofen and honestly not in much pain at all, think the ibuprofen is bridging the swelling down a bit now which is good!

How are you girls finding the pain/discomfort? xxx

Im in bad pain and discomfort and cant really move my arms my back kills, have u found ibroprufen works better than the ones hosp gave? I was going to take ibroprufen at 10.30 when my next tablets r due instead of the co-drydamol to see if that helps my muscles to relax abit and take some swelling down, do u think this will work? Xx

No worries Stacey – not sure about the Ibruprofen hopefully someone else can answer that.

Stacey you can take ibuprofen with the co-drydamol hun and i’ve found it’s been really good at bringing the swelling down. Ibruprofen is more for swelling and co-drydamol is paracetamol and codeine for pain so all can be taken together (I asked the nurse) xx

How is everyone today? Im finding my left side is much stiffer than my right – not sure if im creating it because i use my left hand less. Are you girls doing thins for yourself? Making your own drinks/food etc? xxx

I’m feeling a lot better today! Was able to get myself up this morning with no pain and doing most things for myself now. I had to go and do an exam this morning so am feeling a bit tired just going to take it easy for the rest of the day! Still all swollen though just can’t wait to feel 100% normal xxx

Thanks hun think it went ok! I can lift my arms fully babe what about you? If I put them right up and back a bit I feel a bit stretched so i’m not lifting them up just as a precaution but I can do without pain.

I havent even tried!!!!! Lol. I havent lifted them at all! I think im going to have one last lazy day and then see how much I can do tomorrow xx

Im not as achy as yesterday but back and boobs are still, i manage to get up alone now without too much pain but still not able to do own drink etc i just get someone to open fridge and i have a can of coke lol, i cant open doors or flush the loo as it kills my boobs. Hopefully everyday there is a improvement. Glad u girls r getting bit better. I noticed yesterday one boob is bigger and higher than the other, do u think i should be worried or just put it down to swelling? Hope im not the only one experiencing this xx

Hi Stacey. We sound similar. All my doors are lodged as they are fire doors so are really heavy but i can get my own drinks and stuff. I dont use my arms to get myself up though – i jusy shuffle out of bed lol.

I was given a list by the Nurse when i left (i was with Transform though) but one boob bigger and higher at this stage is nothing to be concerned about – thats what it says on my info. Yeh i think its down to the swelling. Both boos wont reciver at identically the same pace. The two reasons they say to make sure to call at this stage is if you have blood or discharge on your bandages or extreme pain.

If you wanna put your mind at ease call the Nurse as thats what they are there for and thats what youve paid them for! Also it may just make you feel better hearing it from a professional. I would xx

Had mine tues afternoon and am doing ok, no painkillers now just a v achy back from sleeping propped up, ended up on the couch at 1am as was keeping hubby awake! Hopefully get a better night tonite. Glad everyone seems ok and coping well x

Thanks hun i put my macom bra on yesterday and not looked at them anymore, im really hoping it is just swelling but swelling should go down by the time we see nurse at 1 week check shouldnt it so if it is still like it i will ask her what i should do. My back kills but i know its from not being able to keep good posture and sleeping sitting up lol xx

What was my bigger boob is definitely more swollen (strange I thought it would be the other way round with the other one having a bigger implant!) but you can feel more swelling all around the armpit and sides! I wouldn’t worry babe as looking at girls pictures on here they change so much that we can’t judge for a few weeks! My shoulders hurt the most must be from being hunched over all the time lol xx

Girls should we wear macom bras all the time after ba or should we have breaks withput it? I was told i didnt need to wear one but chose to as they felt bit more comfortable and supported xx

I had a slightly bigger implant in one and it’s still the smaller one that’s swollen. So odd! I’m keeping my sports bra on all the time I was told 24 hours a day for 2 weeks! Did have a little break earlier it did feel nice! I’m hardly sore at all now but my incisions hurt a bit anyone else got this? xx

Yeah ive not noticed any pain in my incisions (prob cause it was worse everywhere else) but today they feeling bit sensitive and itchy, think thats normal for scars healing though. Im actually alot better my back and shoulders r worse , thanks to sleeping sitting up i think lol. Good to hear everyone seems to be improving, the ibroprufen seemed to work good for me last night
