anyone had this problem after a BA POD17

girls im 17 days post op and I’ve noticed my nipples leaking has this happened to anyone else? or isit just me haha?xx

What type of discharge is it? I’ve read that increased pressure on the milk ducts can cause discharge from the nipple, especially if you have already had children. However, I would speak to the nurse or surgeon if you’re worried about it x

hi Emily! as if I was lactating. I rang my nurse for out of hours advice as she reckons it’s probably hormonal too due to the changes my breast are going through and just to keep am eye on it as if it’s on going I will need to go in ect. I was just wondering if anyone else has been through this to see what happened to them. im hoping it’s just down to the cha he’s my breasts are going through xx

Yeah apparently it can happen and isn’t that uncommon! Like the nurse said just keep an eye on it and if it continues and doesn’t look right get in touch with them again. We have been through quite a big op and our boobs have to get used to it x
