Hi ladies, just got my admission time for next Tuesday, made me so much more excited, seems a lot more real now for some reason!

Anyway just wondering if any post-op girls have had 7:30am admission time and what time you went for the op and what time you were allowed home. Know its different for everyone but would be good to get rough idea as my boyfriend has to come and pick me up.

    Thank you! xxxxx

Love it that you all seemed to have left so early, i hate hospitals, would much rather be in my own bed. fingers crossed it all goes well and i’m let out in the afternoon too. Thanks for sharing. xx

is it just me, but I just find it really shocking that people are let out of hostital so soon after the surgery?!

I had to stay overnight because I had very bad reaction to GA.

But even at my fist consultation when I asked my PS about the hospital stay he said that you have stay for least 6 hours after the opp & he much preffers if you can stay overnight for the safety reasons. Apparently most complications like allergic reactions or bleeding occurs within the first 24 hours…

They monitor how you are with Ga and surgery before they let u go and any probs or worries on either side you can stay in. I also had an emergency number given and the hospital did ring and check up on me. X

I had 7:30am admission time, went down about 10:15am and was able to leave at around 7pm. My nurse said she’d have preferred me to stay over night just for a precaution but I just wanted my own bed! xx
