anyone have to give up smoking before ba??

has anyone had to give up smoking before ba mine in 4 weeks and been told i have to give up dont no how im gonna do it anyone had or having the same problem? or anyone that didnt give up xx

i didnt give up, but shhhhh dont tell anyone, i did cut down to a maximum of 5 a day.

do u no wat im soooo glad some1 didnt cos there no way i can just give up like that in 4 weeks lol i bin smokin for nearly 10 years i just wont have 1 day of op and just cut right down, did it affect ur healing or anything i no they feel quite strong that u should stop xxx

i think its mainly cause it clogs your blood up that theyre botrherd about it? im not sure though. it is best to cut down as much as poss.
no idea if it hindered my healing or not to be honest.

just try your best, thats all you can do.

Yeh the toxins in cigs can effect healing bt I smoked as normal through mine!!just told them I’d given up!!as some surgeons are funny about it!!just try cut dwn I guess xxx

yeah i will try and cut down but iv told them i will give up thanks for the comments nice to no that im not the only 1 xxx

Haha no def nt only one!even my pc told me she smoked through hers!!I think if ur normal healthy shud be fine!xxx
