The split muscle procedure. X x

If this is the same thing as ‘dual plane’ then yes I’ve heard of it. It’s where they place the implant partly under and partly over the muscle. However, many people say this is just a fancy name for ‘unders’ so Im not sure. I was offered overs straight away so had no reason to question it. x

I think it’s what is usually done when people have ‘unders’….the muscle covers the top part of the implant. From what I’ve read breast augmentation where the implant is completely under the muscle is quite rare.
