If so when did you return to work? I do a lot of heavy lifts and basically feel like I’m exercising for 13 hours during my shifts. Work on a really busy inpatient ward and can’t just say I need to take it easy… I’m considering staying away from work for at least 4 weeks instead of just one.

Hiya hun, my job is very physical. i had partials and went back to work after 18 days. i then struggled for a week even to carry my file.

i would definately reccomment the 4 weeks off if ur a nurse because this is what i should have taken really… X

    Thanks everyone:)

To be on the safe side, I’m probably just going to wait for 4 weeks. All that stress and hard work are probably not good for my boobs lol. What on earth am I going to do at home for 4 weeks though…I will be very bored!!

I’m a paeds nurse I’ve took 16 days off which I think will be fine, I’m 1 week po (i had overs) and I feel great I’ve had no pain at all since my op tho. Guess it depends how u feel personally n ur individual healing but u can’t know that before ur op can you. x
