Anyone in Cardiff had a BA with MYA

Hi Amylou, I haven’t had my ba yet but I am in Cardiff. I’ve had one consultation and having another one with a different surgeon in 2 weeks. So far I can’t fault them as a company as was made to feel very welcome and at ease cos i was a bag of nerves when I turned up!!

How about you hun? Have you seen anyone yet?

Yeh I’m really pleased with the results I was a 34c/d and am now an f/ff, but they dont look massive and out of propotion on my size 10 frame. I had mr singh. x

Hey girls i went to harley today and explained about my injections and the surgeons have said no chance they won’t even look at me for another 6 to 9 months so that i have a chance for some of the product to get absorbed. I’m a little gutted but at the same time don’t want a bad result so i’m starting to think i will have to wait to be on the safe side but will have to then put up with saggy boobs for a while. ah well back to the drawing board! Will keep researching more companies in the mean time anyway. Rio keep me posted on how everything goes for you chick.

Hey rio yeah fingers crossed for me cause i’ve been wanting this for so long but i’m feeling the same as you and i don’t really want to spend the rest of my life umming and ahhing either. Hey nikki are you happy with the results of your surgery? which surgeon did you go with and what are your stats?

I had my ba about 7 weeks ago and went through mya cardiff. I have no regrets at all it was the best thing I ever did. The treatment I’ve had has been fab about from they forgot to tell me one appointment ad been cancelled and I turned up cos they didnt ring me. aside from this I am very happy. x

Aw sorry to hear that hun, it sounds like it’s possible for you to get your ba though which is good news.

I’ve just booked in for 21st Oct, not sure if I’ve done the right thing or not, it’s so much money but if I didn’t do it now then I’d be umming and ahhing forever more lol.

Hey rio mr singh has asked me to go and get an ultrasound scan done to see how much of this stuff is still in my breasts so that he can see if there is a possibility of removing it during the operation. Think i’m going to get in touch with the dr that did the injection to get a bit more information. Have been told in the past that it is easy to remove but was alarmed to hear that it was suppose to be put behind the mucsle and not straight into the breast which is what i have had done.

Ah well you live and learn!

Hi Amylou, that’s great you felt really comfortable with him. So were you hoping for unders then? Has he given you some options to think about? I don’t know much about the macrolane except for a little bit of online reading I did a while ago. Good that he’s going to research it and not just telling you to go ahead. So what’s the next step now hun?

I’m not having my consultation til aug 28th but my pc is ringing me tomorrow with operation dates so I can plan a bit in the meantime.

Hey rio i had my consultation with mr singh today and was put at ease immediately. I don’t feel as if i’m being rushed into anything at all. I did feel a little upset after though cause i regret having my breast injections. He isn’t sure what my end result will be cause i still have alot of the product left in my boobs and i don’t want to end up with loose skin after it starts to get absorbed by my body. He wants to research the macrolane injection a little bit more for me but it does stop me from having unders. Let me know how your next consultation goes.

Hey girls i’m feeling much better about knowing that little bit of information. I work in a hospital so i think i worry alot more about things and now that healthcare professionals need to be registered with governing bodies so that the general public know that they are safe to work. Congratulations on the ba bethanie. Are you happy with the end result? Which surgeon performed the operation? Oh well fingers crossed for us rio! I’m getting quite excited. Just hope mr singh says that i can have the ba now cause i’ve had the breast injections in the past.

Amylou, I also asked about this and apparently BAAPS is a british qualification and those surgeons who are not on the register often have european or equivalent qualifications. Great to know you can easily get cv’s for all the surgeons, you can’t do too much research really can you x

Hi – I live in Newport had pre-post op in Cardiff. MYA will give you each of the surgeons CVs if you ask for them so dont worry about that Mya is a fantastic company, I contacted my pc all times of day and night with lots of questions and always got an answer.

Post op they provided numerous emergency numbers and also a MYA registered nurse rang me twice once home to check I was ok and happy and confirm I had accsess to the emergency number. Imy pc also texted me good luck meassge and checked on my after wards. tried a few different companies inc Harely st beofre I settled on MYA and I have to say – I ould not be happier with the whole experience and the results so far
I wish I had looked forward to it more instead of being such a bag of nerves all of the time!

Hey rio thanks for the info. Was trying to do a little research on BAAPS to see if the surgeons were registered but not finding them at the mo! little bit concerned but i’m sure it will be sorted. Will keep you posted on what happens monday

Hi Amylou, I saw Mr chantarasak last week and was very happy but he suggested low profiles for me and I just want a second opinion on this. I’m definitely sticking with Mya though. Seeing Mr Adamo on 28th aug, have heard great things about Mr Singh also though hun.

Hey i’m waiting to see Mr Singh on monday so i’m hoping it goes well. It’s taken me years to pluck up the courage to get this far. Can i be cheeky and ask why you are seeing another surgeon? is this with mya too or with a different company? i’m very nervous about the whole thing but i’ve heard good reports about Mr Singh so i’m keeping my fingers crossed.

i was with cardiff, i had my op 23rd feb and they have been brilliant the whole way through!!! xxx

i had a BA with MYA in cardiff, and i have no complaints and no regrets, they are fantastic xx

I’m also with Cardiff as I live in Swansea, I’m off to London Monday night ready for my ba Tuesday morning, I’ll keep you updated as to how it is but so far so good. I too went to Harley Medical but felt they were just out for a sale, I felt very comfortable with MYA from the start. I’m having Mr Chantasak.

hi ladies im going through the cardiff clinic,im having a BA and a tummy tuck with Mr Chantasak on the 10th of may. just wondering how all you ladies you have had him got on?he offered me a 340cc overs but i was wanting a d cup 380cc,im a 34a now is it better to go with the drs advice? x
