Anyone nervous about the Anesthetic?

Heya, as my op is coming closer I’m getting more and more nervous about having anesthetic just so scared about any complications during the op ? lol Anyone else feel nervous?> xxxx

I have to say I’m brickin it!!!Keep on thinking bout my two lil boys, n am i doing the right thing?? Lots of what ifs going through my mind – having really weird dreams about it too……

my mums had a GA so i was asking her about it! she said she just felt sleepy afterwards, i think im more bothered about the needle going in my hand she said you can ask for some numbing cream to help but u can still feel it a bit so dnt think im gunna like that! x

i was nervous too that i wouldnt wake up but they put the needle n the tube in then the woman sed ok ur gna fall asleep now i had oxygen mask on after fourt breath i was knocked out and in the same tube they give u adrenalin to wake u up wen they dne

the needle was in my elbow crease nt in hand. and i did ask for bit of gas and air so i wouldn feel needle but they said no but u cnt feel it anyways jus a little scratch the lady put in the needle while the other lady put them round sticky pads on my chest so i was abit distacted lol

Ive had a GA before when i was 14 and i was fine just sick after it, i had horrible dream about it last night lol so its made me all nervous now haha im such a baby… im the same nancyg just thinking of my family it is my dream last night thtas freightend me now lolxxx

I’m petrified about the GA! i was thinking about taking rescue remedy/kalms before hand does anyone know if this is allowed?

Haylz1..Hey.. I think you have to stop taking vitamins and herbal supplements 2 weeks before op.. But plz ask on your pre op with Nurse.. I was advised not to as they can thin the blood… Hope that helps a little.. I am also concerned about the Ga.. Had two before and thankfully here to tell the tale.. sometimes you can feel a bit queezy or actually sick after.. really depends on the person..T.C

I’v got my op on wednesday and i’m terrified of the GA…i always cry before i pass out and then usually cry again when i come round…i’m a right wuss but i think its normal to be scared xx
