Anyone not told to massage???

Hey girls,

I wasnt told by Mr Traynor or my nurse to massage… Ive been doing it for the last few days though & i dont know if its a coincidence but theyve softened loads…

i was told not to use bio oil or coca butter until after the six weeks by my nurse she also said mr traynor doesnt like ppl doing it either ! ive jus met with my nurse today for my pre op check thing and she said when ive had them done its fine to massage the tops if i would like i think theres some info about it in the mya pack u get? xxx

as I said was told to do the top part from 3 weeks and the whole breast from 6 weeks on to soften them Yeah and after 6 weeks you can use bio oil or cocoa butter. Will get some cocoa butter next week need to soften mine for Holiday lol xxx

i started massaging with cocoa butter after my 1wk post op, nurse told me not to put near incisions thou! hope this helps girls x

hi ladies!

I was only told to start massaging them 6 weeks post op. You need to let the pocket heal that has been created to fit the implant in. Don’t worry too much about it and discuss it when you go back for your 6 ish week check. I didnt have Mr Traynor for my op but had a post op appointment with him because i had concerns. He explained in detail how to massage them even though i wasn’t his original patient.
