Anyone offer re-assurance?

Hi Girls,

Am just wondering if i am the only one or whether im really stupid for not having a consultation with any other company…I have only been to see MYA and am going ahead with MYA…am i being stupid? Should i meet with another company first…?

I haven’t met with any other company, just met two surgeons (only because wanted bigger than the first one offered me). I don’t feel stupid as am happy and confident with my choice. As long as you feel the same don’t doubt yourself xx

If you feel comfortable with your PC and surgeon then no you’re not stupid. I saw MYA and Transform and preferred MYA. If you feel happy with everything then that’s great and you have no need to go elsewhere xx

Hi Hun. No I’m the same, I’m the kind of person if I have too much choice I’ll worry more lol. My friend told me to go with MYA as she has worked for a few different cosmetic surgeries so I totally trust her judgement and once I had my consultation I did feel so happy that I wasn’t bothered about going anywhere else. But if you feel like you will be happier by just going somewhere else then do it, you are paying a lot of money so gotta make sure you feel 100% comfortable with your decision

Thanks girls, i feel happy with my decision and MYA but just had a thought that maybe i should have gone elsewhere just to have something to compare too if you know what i mean!

I dont like making decisions so like you sallyt, i think i would worry alot more if i had been to see someone else!

Just having a wobbly lol getting more real now i have paid deposit and booked date, up until and after i have had my op i will still have wobblies, thats just what im like lol!

Haha me too, I’ve wobbled about the size and the GA and now I’m fine with them but wobbling about implant type and I think I will be wobbling about everything all together until they knock me out on the bed hahaha

I went to harley medical group(thinking it was my first choice) what a bunch of shit ….i was seen for 15 minutes and then i asked to explain the money and the nurse was like your time is up you will have to come back for another appointment and then to meet a surgeon(without deciding if you like the surgeon or want the surgery you have to pay £500 to meet them what the hell??) and the wait for a ba was quite a while.

needless to say I was not impressed… went to transform next and omg the PC looked like a drag queen…she was wearing fur and bedazzling jewels and her face looked like the horror plastic surgeries gone wrong, i was a bit shocked for such a big company, I didnt like that she was slagging off the other companies(I know a girl who went with transform who had a good result) but in my opinion if their central london clinic has a woman who looks scary bad with surgery representing them it is not a good look or sign eeek. It could just be the one branch though.

I heard about mya through a work collegues daughter who had gone through mya and went I went to my consultation I had almost lost hope in the professionalism on UK surgery’s but mya was amazing….my pc was so lovely, the place is so modern,clean and I like that there was testamonials to read on the tables etc. It was more an easy environment….

Dolcie dont worry…I actually wasted my time going to other clinics

Aww, thanks Alli, thats really nice to read! I had booked in with transorm to see them as well as MYA but never got round to it lol…they kept bugging me to re-book and really tried to sell themselves on the phone when i initally booked the appointment, MYA never done any of that…I hate hard sellers, makes me think there is something to be wary of! So yeah, MYA seems the best from the little experiance i had of Transform! I am comfortable and happy with my decision so fingers crossed everything continues to go well with MYA!

I am going with Mario, are you pre or post op? What clinic/hosp did you go to?xx

Transform were the cheapest but for me it wasn’t about money but the best clinic.

Mya in my eyes are the best clinic with the best surgeons. Yes mya didnt push me either to book and pay unlike the other ones who were defs money hungry .

My surgeon at mya even told me to think about it for 2 weeks on everything before I book which made me feel comfortable there was no pressure from my pc on payment or booking.

To me thats more professional. you are in safe hands babe.My surgeon was mr adamo:)

hollybol…omg my friend and I were sitting with this ”thing” dolled up infront of us with long scary nails, too much lip gloss with bad collagen or filler in her lips that they went the opposite ways and lips didnt even move when she spoke combined with a bad 80s hairstyle that wasnt even good in the 80s and a bad facelift,puffy eye job and too much drag makeup….(bad results of surgery)

hahaha we were staring more at ther face than what she was saying especially since her face or mouth didnt move as she spoke….we couldnt stop laughing when we left she seemed high too lol lol.

I have been offered 300, 340 and 380 depending on what he can fit in as i have tubular so needs to correct that first! I am worried 340s wont be big enough as i am quite broad, size 10/12! I told him i want a big C or D but im going back to see him end of march and i think i will tell him i want a D and the 380s if he can fit it in! So hard to decide lol i guess the decision is kind of out of my hands though as its what will fit! xx

Yip I suffered extreme swelling it was so painful but now im feeling good:)

My 340cc extra high profiles felt huuge in beginning started to panick that they were too big nowww that swelling is easing I want them bigger lol it was the max size I was allowed as im only a size 6. I think they feel in complete proportion to my frame. Im wearing a D sports bra which is starting to feel super tight like I need DD.maybe coz they dropping…

I think the difference between 340cc and 380cc Is not very much. I would say 380cc will give you at least a DD upwards most girls are getting E/F with 380cc.

i Let my surgeon decided during the op which looked good in. he wanted to do 310cc but I had my heart set on 340cc and he said he would see and i woke up with 340cc:D

maybe let him see during the op. On your frame I would suggest to not go smaller than 340cc you might feel dissapointed otherwise. Although I think 300 will give you a C or so….340cc more towards a D i think….

it also depends on your profile of your implant. from the side mine look big because I have extra high profiles whereas a lower profile 340cc would appear smaller unless you have more breast tissue .

are you having unders/partials or overs?I had partials.

I am so indecisive so glad I let my surgeon choose but telling him what size I had my heart set on (although he could tell lol) he took into strong consideration what I wanted but promised to make sure he gives me the best look possible and will see how the bigger fits if not then the smaller…woke up with the bigger and so glad I did:)xxx

I am pretty sure i will tell Mario i want the 380’s if he can do it, i think they will feel huge at first but then i will get used to them, i tried on the thingys after with my PC and the 380’s looked fine on me, i know they will look different to that but its an idea and I didnt look stupidly top heavy! I want a very very semi fake look, more natural though if that makes sense, I would cry if i had a stuck on look lol (looks good on others but not for me)

I guess i have to do the same as you and tell him i would love to have 380s but whatever he things suits at the time! I am sure they will look good anyway, and anythign is better than what i have now believe me lol!

I have to have overs because its corrective surgery, I had my heart set on unders as i have seen everywhere they are more natural so was a bit dissapointed but now I have seen lots of fab overs and am ok with it, he obvs knows whats best so i have to trust him!

Im the same, i cannot make a decision to save my life so i think i best make Mario aware of what i want and then leave it to him to sort out lol!xx

I went with Mya because my friend did and recommended them. I had my BA on tuesday with Mr C, I havent had much pain, hardly any, was in town today shopping. I cant fault mya, my nurse was fantastic and my boobs look amazing. I trusted my surgeon and got the look I wanted. Ive noticed a few people on here have had the odd problem but mya have sorted it and in some cases a re op has been given free of charge, the aftercare seems brilliant.

Like you say, a few people have had problems but seem to have no problem getting it sorted…always re-assuring! I just hope i have a fab experiance like yourself!x

Def MYA I had transform in the past and could hit myself for givin them money of mine and had 2 awful boob jobs with them,had my ba yesterday with me Singh and feelin solo happy xx

Ah no had pips 1st time around and 2nd time around not happy with the result. Yea no prob I haven’t got no pic tho lol x
