Anyone replaced implants with smaller ones?

Hi girls looking for some advice! I had my op done nearly 11 months ago so last October. Was a 32A, I’m 5ft 1″ and just over 7st to give you a visual of my petite body! I had 450cc hp overs, and measure a 32DD or a 30E.

I just feel like they’re too big for my frame. I didn’t want to be out of proportion and I feel like I am. I’m happy with the placement and shape of them, just the size.

Ideally I’d like to go down to a C cup, no idea what implant size I would need instead to achieve this but I’m hoping someone on here can advise me and share their experience on downsizing their implants?

Who was your surgeon?
What implants did you have originally and then go down to?
Does switching from high profile to a moderate profile make a difference?
Did you change the placement of your implant? (under/over)
What happened to your skin? Is there loose skin? Do they sag? Or did it tighten?

I’m young at only 21 and considering I’ve only had them in for less than a year I’m confident my skin would shrink back around the implant nicely. I’m also considering changing the profile to moderate or moderate plus if thats doable. I’m speaking to my PC atm about a consultation and to see another surgeon to discuss all these questions but would like advice from you girls! 🙂

I have the exact same stats as you so I can understand that you feel 32 DD/30 E is too large for your teeny frame.

I’m yet to have my op so I can’t give detailed advice on reducing the size of your implant. All I can say is speak to your PC in person & she will be able to answer all of your questions & concerns, and if there’s anything she can’t answer I’m sure she will organise a surgeon consult for you.

I’ve got to say that I’m shocked you were offered such big implants! Did you request 450cc? I’m expecting to be offered 250cc max!

I weigh 7 stone and am 5 foot 5. I had 325 unders and wish I had 275 instead 🙁 xx

What is it about them that you don’t like hun? Is it hard to get clothes, do they get in the way? Do you think you might get used to them if you wait a while longer?

I’m not sure about the shrinking back mine grew while pregnant so 9 months I had boobs when they shrunk they looked horrible hense I’m having my boobs done skin doesn’t just shrink back nicely I would imagine you would need some other surgery done than just a ba ?

Lottie – it is literally just the size of them that i don’t like! i love the shape of them, exactly what i wanted, the round ‘faker’ look, but they are just too big. i didn’t want to look ridiculous and i feel like i do. if i could just go down a couple sizes they would be perfect. i don’t want to change the placement of them, i still want them to be overs as i prefer that look. i said from the start i wanted them to look like i’d had them done as i love the way they look and the roundness of them, just the size is totally wrong for my height and weight.

i am used to them, i’ve had them nearly a year this october. i feel like it’s better to act now than to let the skin stretch anymore than it has. i don’t necessarily find clothes shopping hard, but bra shopping is an issue. i can find bras in my size no problem, but they don’t do them any favours. strapless bras just squish them and are uncomfortable.

they don’t really get in the way but again, they just don’t suit my petite frame! thankyou, i have my consultation booked for next month so just waiting to see what the surgeon will say 🙂 x

laura – i’m not getting my hopes up but i am crossing every finger and toe that i won’t need to have a lift etc. i’ve done a LOT of research online from other patients who have downsized and hey, look at katie price who has gone up and down up and down over the years! i’m really hoping i’ll have time (only had them 10 months) and my age (21) and good skin elasticity on my side x

will keep you all updated when i see the surgeon next month on the 23rd 😀 x
