Anyone taken their own tapes off?

hi all, has anyone taken their own tapes off?
as i have been told to wait to hear from the nurse and ave tried calling her x4 times and she has not called me back!
i was like what!!! they are now soooo itchy they are driving me mad and my skin is going slightly red, had my ba done a week tomoz, what shall i do?

I took top one off after 4 days as it didmy head in!but its app important to keep bottom one on so wounds heal!xxx

OK, Its just i have left like 5 messages now for the nurse ans she still hasnt called me back i have had like 6 days of this they are meant to come off tomorrow?

yea me too not due to have mine off til thurs im nows 7dayz post op…rang the nurse yesterday and she said they are for the purpose of the scars (aparently helps them heal flat??)…so i took it all off and cut leaving underneath the breast taped where the scars are

sooo releaving!!!! xx

Yeh what milly says would be ur best option!the underneath ones keep the wound together as they are still quite fresh for first 2 weeks!so need to be covered and u dnt wana get them infected!xxx

Thats what i just done! oh my god did anyone have dr singh the tape is the foam tape its so hard to get off feels like you have had a hardcore waxing session! lol so happy tapes are off just covered in glue now and pink fluff frommy dressing gown!

Ahhahah I was the same they stick on good!!!I used nail varnish remover pads to get the stickiness off (just mind ur wounds of u will be in agony lol) xxx

i had mr k and his tpe was horrible i cudnt even c me boobs only me nipples!! but i was taken myn off myself.. i was just taken it off gettin rid ov th stickinss itchin then stickin it back on even tho t was nearly hangin off but when nurse took it off it was loads easier.. and she didnt say nothin she said it was better.. but i had mine off after a week i had been sick on mine and everything it was awful =[ xx

yh i took min off on 4th day just the top and middle to see cleavage lol, put them back on though

they are off now, look sooo different,!
