anyone tell me a bit about what happens after surgery ?

im booked with mr.taynor on the 20th of this month a week 2mrw!! im jus wondering what happens wen uve had them done as ive seen some girls taped up and some girls not? how long until u can have a proper bath ? and do they use dissovable stictches? any use and other generall info anyone can give me wud be a big help xxxx

I had 410 High Profile Unders 6 months ago at Machester.

I was taped but i think every surgeon is different, i stayed for one night and in the morning had my drains removed which is such a releif. boobs and chest are very swollen at first and obviously very painful so keep up with the drugs. I was bed bound for about a week and of course did the whole sleeping upright thing during that time.

I took my bandages off myself before my first check as i found them v uncomfortable but left the covering over stitches. I had a bath the next day but waited until all my bandages were off for a shower.

it’s just not a pleasant experience at all BUT i felt ok after about 10 days and i don’t regret it for a second. They look amazing now and are v natural.

My advice is to get your sky+ well stocked and have plenty of ready meals in the fridge and make sure everything you need isn’t over hip hight as you won’t be moving above that for about a week. lol oh and listen to your body.

Had my BA 7 weeks ago. I was taped up after surgery and also had drains in which were removed the next day. My boobs were swollen and I had some pressure on my chest but that was all. Was glad I had no pain! Took my antibiotic tablets as ordered and was back to normal on day 3. Luckily I had help of my partner for 3 weeks so I took it really easy. Was told to sleep up for a week which was really uncomfy but bareable. After 1 week the nurse took the tape off and I was allowed to shower but had to be careful with the incisions. Was told to use baby wash, blow dry them and change bra every day to prevent infections.

After 3 weeks I was allowed to massage the top of my boobs and after 6 weeks the full boobs to make them softer and drop more. Will have my 3 months check up with surgeon soon so will see what else he says.
