Hi girls, I have my BA booked for 10th Jan and soooo worried. I am booked for overnight stay in hospital after my opp. After im discharged I will be on my own ‘cos I live by myself and really don’t want anyone round to be honest.. Do you think I will be ok? xx

Don’t worry, you’ll be fine, hun! I was the same. I have my phone right by me and my best friend ready to come over if needed, but I’m doing great. I’m two days post-op from uplift and ba. Just been watching TV and snoozing/resting the whole time and feel pretty good already. The painkillers are great and I only know its time to take some more when I start getting a bit achey. Just make sure you leave everything you might need afterwards ‘to hand’, and get loads of fruit, cereal, and soup in, so you have easy stuff to make to eat. I’ve also been taking loads of Vit C (1000mg in the morning, and again in the evening) as it’s meant to help really well with healing. It helps make new collagen to heal the incisions. :) xx
