Anyone with polands syndrome???

Hi is there anyone on here having surgery because of polands syndrome?? Doubt it, but worth a try! Get in touch need advice xx

Hiys hun, this may not be much help as I don’t have polands syndrome but I’ve heard Dr Mario Russo is one of MYAs best surgeons for corrective surgery. May be worth asking to have a consultation with him. Xx

Hi hun, did you speak to your GP about being referred to a breast reconstruction surgeon for treatment on the NHS? Polands syndrome can require several procedures if youre a complex case. Can’t hurt to ask and I would think that the NHS still treats breast problems from Polands. Wish you the best.

hi thanks for the replies, yesh i have already had 3 augmentations on the NHS , but after having 2 kids theyve gone back, and as im planning on having more children and bfeeding my consultant says i will need an uplift and he’l not do it until ive finished my family, but i dont know the exact date ive have finished my family lol…n i want something done asap thats why im thinkin of going private. but just wanted to c if there was anyone else in a similar situation so i could ask a few questions as its a lot of money.xx

Maybe you could talk to one of the patient co-ordinators at MYA they might be able to put you in touch with someone in the same situation. I know its confidnetial so they wouldn’t be able to just give you names details ect but if they are able to find someone that went with MYA in your situation maybe they could get in touch with them on your behalf and see if they are willing to get in touch with you. I don’t know if this would be the case but no harm infinding out. When I had my op I signed a form saying I would be willing for mya to get in touch with me if they thought I’d be helpful answering another patients questions ect. Welcome to the forum btw xx
