Anyone with post-op issues that needed further surgery?

Has anyone had any issues post-op? What recourse do you have to get things fixed if needed? Just curious to see what happens in this sito!! Have booked my consultation for next week and very excited but want all the info I can get. xx

I had fluid on my right breast (seroma) and nurse had me in, took pics to send to the surgeon and I was seen within a couple of days. Dr. Kazzazi sent me straight to have it drained then made a follow up appointment a few weeks later. Right boob still not right, i have mild CC so will probably need a re-op but not sure yet. They’ve been brilliant all through and even phoned me the other day to check how all is going and arrange another checkup.

Yes. One of my implants bottomed out almost immediately after surgery, but this was because of the weight of the implant as mine are quite big and heavy; if your not considering extra large implants then I don’t think this is something you need to worry about. I was seen straight away by the nurse after sending pictures and within days I had my corrective surgery, which was in fact yesterday! I’m really happy at how quickly I was dealt with and that they managed to fit me in (there were 16 BA’s yesterday!). I’m in hardly any pain, only the occasional ache here and there, but I haven’t touched my painkillers since I came out of theatre at 2 30pm yesterday and I couldn’t be happier right now . Don’t let this put you off though, complications are rare, and I knew some of the risks involved with going so big and they were risks I was willing to take….I was just one of the unlucky ones though, most people pass through it very smoothly with no issues at all, no matter what size they go for. If anything were to happen post-op I really wouldn’t worry about getting it sorted; there is an emergency number that can be called 24 hours a day if you have any issues and as mentioned before, the nurses are very helpful

I’ve had part under my left boob this hasn’t been healing. Like a small hole. The aftercare has been amazing! They’ve had me in dressed it cleaned it, seen mr kazzazi too. Finally on the mend. I couldn’t of asked for better aftercare xxx

My sisters aftecare was shocking. Am a health profession work for the NHS and my sisters seroma started leaking badly. she was so upset and shaken up because had taken ehr by suprise she had seen nurse just before who said the pain was due to her being right handed without even checking (neglect). Anyway so i spoke to the lady on the telephone 24 hour advise or whatever she was (in her brummy accent ) told me to put a plaster over it if i couldnt see the implant it would be ok , by this time i had soaked 2 tea towels. Wasnt goign to stop because of a plaster. I dragged my sister to a and e the lady phoned back and wasnt very happy i had done and stated she should waited to see mr kazzazi the next day! The advisor was quite patronising even more so because as stated i work for the nhs and have worked on the surgical floor. My sister had an infection now shes left with abnormal size boobs as one is loads bigger (the one that had seroma and infection smaller) Theyr will correct this well they will one boob, cut the muscle inside so it drops and levels out with the other. But wont do both even tho if had been checked could have been prevented. Also why would she want them to re do surgery when the aftercarre she got before was basic asked few questions without assessing her??

I’m really sorry to hear about your experience and I hope your sis is on the mend. Hopefully, they can make the one breast identical to the other.

I’m not really concerned about the surgery as much as aftercare. I would like to know if anything went wrong, I’d be in safe hands.
