YES they are x however they are not FDA approved

Forgive me for being thick.. What does FDA mean? and… I’m guessing it’s quite important given the current implant issues in the news?! Xxxxxxx

They aren’t approved in USA but are here, I’m going to upgrade my implants mainly due to current scandal x

    Menu

Well this is what I’m thinking now, they are only like £300-£500 more aren’t they? Small price for peace of mind.. :-) xxxxxx

Large price for those of us who haven’t got it. They are approved in the UK. but not in the US because they just haven’t done enough testing on them to approve them that’s all, doesn’t mean they haven’t been approved there because they weren’t good enough xx

Yes they are all made by Allergan but the CUI’s are nor FDA approved… but soft touch and responsives are. This is one of the main reasons that i chose to pay the extra for mine.

Responsives are £308 and Soft Touch are £461

I’m guessing “soft touch” are what they say on the tin lol.. But what are responsives?? Xxxxx

    Hi all, just to clarify

The CUI implant range are made by Allergan. Allergan are the largest manufacturer of breast implants in the world. The CUI range is made from a high quality refined silicone and each CUI breast implant takes a minimum of 7 days to make by hand.

Natrelle implants are made in exactly the same way as the CUI. However, these have an extra layer of texturing on them and are available in a larger range of sizes and projections.

Both type of implants are manufactured by Allergan and were chosen by MYA as they have an excellent clinical record and have been put through over 140 safety tests.

Allergan meet the highest European regulatory standards, however, FDA approval is an American standard and is not relevant in the UK.

We are so pleased to see that patients are taking great interest in the quality of their implants when researching your procedures as we want all our patients to be 100 per cent happy and confident in the breast implants you choose.

Please do let us know if you would like your PC to get in touch to discuss this further or for more information please message the Mod.

    Many thanks

    MYA Mod x
