What are the suggestions for using arnica after BA?

I was told the tablets can slow healing in the same way as ibuprofen and aspirin, but MYA don’t tend to warn against it, other companies openly recommend it before BA. I was told I was ok to take ibuprofen post op so maybe taking arnica post op would be ok? Prob something to run past someone at the clinic if you want to use it as I never got a definitive answer x

I was told not to take it before my op as it thins the blood, the same way the contraceptive pill does xx

Arnica is nothing like ibuprofen or aspirin n doesn’t stop healing it helps healing. It’s a natural remedy made from a plant. I have taken arnica for my BA and c section, also hubby taken it for his broken collar bone. Both fine!! People say to ask ur surgeon about taking it??!?? Personally that’s crazy. A surgeon is good for surgery. If u really wanna know about arnica ask a homeophath as it’s a homeopathic remedy. If u want a nice fish for a fish pie u wouldn’t ask a mortgage advisor! People have said on here don’t take it till after 6 wks, crazy! U would of done alot of ur healing by then. Sorry for a little moan but I think u should all take it it’s great stuff. Xx

My surgeon recommended it and i had one single bruise near my scar which went really quickly. But as Tina says, opinions vary. I completely agree with u gnats! Homeopathic remedies surely do more good than harm :) xx
