So I’ve finally had my consultation with Dr Andrea! He was so lovely and really put my mind at ease!
But now I have a problem… He’s said I can go for high profile 350, 375 or 400 cc and then I can also choose between unders, overs or partials.
I tried the different sizes with my pc and I quite liked all of them but I’m thinking 375cc… I don’t want to go too big but I think if I go for 350cc I’ll wish I went bigger even though it’s such a small difference! I’m worried if I go 400cc I might feel too big… I really don’t know!
But I have no idea what to do about placement… I told Dr Andrea I wanted them to look as natural as possible and he said because of the amount of breast tissue I have they would be fine under, over or partial.
I know unders are much more painful recovery wise but I feel like if they would all look the same maybe he’d have just recommended overs for an easier recovery?

    Hi Jess

What size are you now if you don’t mind me asking? I’m stuck between 375 and 400 too. He said I would be fine with overs as I’m a 34b now and have enough tissue to cover implants over. But I don’t want them to the too fake looking.

I can’t decide whether to do unders or overs. Unders are more painful and take longer to heal. He said I can do unders if I want but there’s not much point.

I’ve come to the decision that if I do overs I’ll chose 375cc, and if I do unders I’ll do 400cc, because when they’re unders they hide a bit of the size anyway x

Hi girls I’ve been offered between 300-400 I’m a 34b and would like dd I have asymmetry so the larger would be a combo of 400 in smaller boob and 375 in the other so really I’d be a 375! They felt quite big but everyone does seem to say go for largest offered to you???? I’ve also been given choice of under or over and thought under would be more natural, even if worse recovery I think I’d prefer that however I’ve heard under will help against future drooping so……… Decisions decisions? I’m having pre op nextmonday and surgery nov 17th so I need to hurry and make up my mind at the same time I’m soooooooo excited!!
Ps I’ve never heard that under loses some of the size?? Tell me more….., xxx

Samantha, unders lose size basically because the implant goes partially under the muscle. So if you imagine a 400cc over is just going to look like a 400cc because it’s all on show. Whereas if you put a 400cc under/partially under the muscle you’re hiding some of it. So in effect, a 400cc would look a bit smaller in unders than it would in someone who had it over.
