Have to have a moan as I’m really pissed off. I have spent the last 2 was cleaning ny house from top to bottom so I could get away with minimal cleaning post op. I returned home today after having my ba yesterday to find my house in an absolute state(my dad and step mum stayed over to look after my children), my dad has tried to fix my toilet and now its leaked litres of water all over our new flooring(& left there!) washing has just been dumped all over my dining table, none of the beds have been made or changed(I put a clean quilt on a new duvet and asked them to pop it on the bed with a fresh sheet….but no!!), there is a weird brown sludge all over the sinks and window seal, Dirty cotton wall balls everywhere, bits of food all over the floor, & the list goes on. & to top it off my 10 month old son was dumped in my arms as soon as I walked in the door despite the fact that I said I was in pain, my step mum said she wanted a coffee cus she was tired and I was ti make it(I can’t even reach the cup cupboard!) And then they both led out on my sofa falling asleep whilst I had to sit on my floor! My husband got back from picking our cat up from the cattery and couldn’t believe it! I’m very shy around my dad and step mum as we’ve never been close, so didn’t mention anything but I feel really upset that they’ve left my house in such a state and had no consideration for the fact ive just had surgery. Since Ive been home ive had to scrub the floors and bathrooms, my husband is trying to sort out the leak and look after the boys. I feel like crying, im really stressed and didn’t expect to come back to this. Sorry for the rant ladies, its just really got to me & I’m so tired and emotional right now :‘( xx

I agree with tina ( hi Tina love x hope you are feeling better ) and all I will say is what goes around comes around …when they need your help politely decline ,if they ask why just say how very let down you felt when you were supposed to help you

Thanks ladies, its just really upset me. I was over the moon until I got home and now I just feel like a door mat. I don’t mind a bit of mess but its a joke the way they’ve left the place. They also said my Boobs look too big and made me feel like crap about that too, put me on a right downer xx

That is all totally out of order.

    Bad, bad behaviour.

You poor thing coming home to all that after your op.

Tina and dollyemm are right – You really need to be resting. I know its hard when you have kids to look after and a house to run, but you are going to have to be a bit more selfish than usual. Other people are going to have to pull their weight.

And I’m sure your boobs are not too big. That was just a petty, jealous comment from the evil step-mother 😉

Hey hunni …. how did it go yesterday? I was 3rd on the list yesterday morning with Mr Singh and had my op about 10.30am! I got home today too to exactly the same – everything upside down and my 18 month and 4 year old on me straight away. Ive got my stepsisters down helping me out for a week as i’m not with my childrens Dad. Just try and rest – I’ve just turned a blind eye to it all as I’m too sore to even start stressing. Funny how you said you had a leak – on the Thursday moring (left for London Thursday night) my bathroom flooded and it was just a disaster day – still got to get plumbers to come and sort it out so can fully sympathise with you. xxx

Ahh its nice to speak to someone in the same situation princessk! I was first on the list cus I turned up almost two hours early(thought the traffic was gonna be bad, but we got there in ten mins!) So ended up going down to theatre just before my admission time if 8:30!! How are u feeling today? Did your surgery go well? Xx

Oh Katie, that is awful love! Be careful not to overdo it though, one of my boob buddy had to go back for another operation due to over ding things too soon. One of her boobs got infected! The hubby can deal with the house duties for at least 2 weeks love! Take it easy :?

Hi katie, seriously if I was you I wouldn’t careless about the house, as long as your husband has feed the children then everything else can wait! When i got home yesterday I went straight to bed, We know its really hard when you have young children but sometimes you have to think about yourself. If you get a infection then its going to take twice as long for you to heal, then the children miss out on more of your time. Relax!! How was your exprience anyway? I must of been 3rd on mr singh’s list because I went down just b4 12pm, He said everything went find and I am going to be very pleased with the results. I haven’t got much pain, which I am very surprised at after having unders, but still taking my meds like clock work, lol. I did have abit of problems after my op, didnt get to my hotel until 1am next morning because my blood pressure was really high and my pulse going really fast.

Please take it easy, this is meant to be a good experience that is life changing, make the most of it xx
