Hello girls,
I’ve just got in from Manchester! I had my BA and uplift on Thursday morning, thought I’d share my story with you all as I enjoyed reading about all you post-op girls stories, so here goes.
I booked into Manchester lifestyle at 07.30am Thurs morning, I filled in a few forms and was then shown to my room. A nurse came in to ask me some medical questions and take my blood pressure, the anthethesist came in too to introduce himself and ask me questions. I then put my gown and lovely knickers on (I won’t spoil the surprise girls)
Then Mr Traynor came in and drew on me. I went down to surgery about 10.15am and I was with a nurse who was chatting away with me and the anthethesist put the canula in my hand and before I knew it I had a cold feeling running up my arm and I don’t remember anything else!! Just remember waking up and it was all done!! I was very drowsy and in a bit of pain so I had morphine and anti-sickness drug and I was out like a light again! I remember feeling drunk before I went out and I was slurring! I don’t think I made much sense to anyone all day on thurs!! My partner was with me the whole time and he waited on me hand and foot because I couldn’t do anything! Mr Traynor came to see me when I was a bit out of it and he was pleased with my operation and if he’s pleased so am I! I was discharged at around 9.30pm and I stayed in a hotel nearby. I had to go and get my dressings changed again today at the mya clinic as my right breast was weeping a little, nothing major.
I’m still very swollen and sore at the moment and one breast is much higher than the other as I had more surgery on the other breast. My left breast looks as though it’s settling though! I had 260cc in one breast and 300cc in the other and an uplift. I think they will look in proportion to my body, it’s so weird girls, It’s very hard to say at this stage what they will look like I just have to have as much rest as possible for the healing and swelling to go down. My stomach is so swollen too from the lack of loo action too!
I was really nervous girls, but honestly everyone is so friendly and looks after you. And all I remember is going to sleep and waking up and it was all done!!
You’re all in good hands girls, good luck to all you pre-op girls, if you have any questions feel free to ask. I have taken lots of pics and I’ll upload them all shortly.
Lotsa love xxx
Mr T is awesome. I would love to see what result you had from him as he offered me an uplift and I declined and went for implant only.
Happy healing
xx
Congrats Michelle!
Sounds like everything went really well – will be me next week – only today have I started to get scared and feel funny about it!
What size were u before and what size did u want to achieve ?
xxxx
By the way I am having uplift and implants
Congratulations michelle! I’m having 300 and uplift too so really looking forward to seeing your pics. How come you didn’t have to stay overnight at the hospital? I thought it was compulsary if you were having an uplift (at least that’s what I was told!) Has Mr Traynor used staples to suture you? I’ll be interested to hear what its like getting them out as thats the bit I’m most worried about at the mo!
Anyway, happy healing my dear!

Hi girls, I was 34b before, my breasts were tuberous and I had one breast bigger than the other with large areolas. Mr T gave me 260cc in one breast and 300cc in the other. I only had modified mastopexy and I asked if I could be seen first on thurs as to give me all day to be monitored and recover so I didn’t have to stay in. Of course I would have had to have stayed in if I wasn’t fit enough to go and I was staying in a nearby hotel anyway.
I’m waiting for my other half to help me upload pics on here so won’t be long now. I’m very swollen still and have icepacks on my breasts. I have a dd sports bra on at moment, I won’t know my final result for a few weeks yet. I didn’t have a final size in mind, I wanted my assymetry corrected more than anything and to look natural and in proportion with my body. I’ll be happy staying at dd though!
Can’t believe how limited I am at the moment though, I knew it would be painful etc but I can’t even get up out of the chair properly without putting strain on my muscles!
I’ll keep you all updated and will post pics on here soon…later tonight. Good luck to all pre-op girls!! And I’ll be happy to answer any questions xxx
Hi Michelle great news- my boobs were slightly tuberous too and I had Mr Chantarasak 10 days ago 340cc unders from a 34 empty C…. I also had an uplift which is a bit more painful isn’t it! I think so anyway more recovery- but my GOD it has already changed my life and I still have the dressings on….its hard with an uplift at first your muscles are useless but after a week I turned a corner and felt near to normal- still a bit weak though… GO YOU YEAH!! x
Congrats!Mine will be done this time next week!!!!
Grimleycat – what size do they feel and look?
I have chosen 360cc low profile implants, with 34D and uplift but am thinking I may be too big now
did they take much skin away from yours?x
Having uplift is very painful but I know it will be worth it in the end! I was so apprehensive about the uplift at first and almost changed my mind. Then Mr Traynor explained to me that if I were to only have implants the implants would have just magnified what I already had and I would have needed an uplift in the future. Grimleycat you still have dressings on? I’m due to have mine off on Thursday…well, I think if I’ve healed okay! Will my muscles be okay after a week? They’re killing me!! Glad you feel better grimleycat! Mine are still rock hard and filling DD sports bra! Melissa good luck, you’ll be fine honey, all you need to do is turn up and fall asleep!! I was amazed at the experience! xxx
Sounds like you’re doing great despite the pain! Sorry to pester you, but did Mr T use staples, steri strips or normal suturing?
Hi tiarastara, I had disolvable stitches around both my nipples and staples underneath one breast because of the assymetry. I had uplift in both but more surgery on one breast due to excess skin which is where Mr T used staples if that makes any sense! xxx
