my ba was booked for the 3rd of may oringally but they changed it to the 30th april so i didnt have time to prepare properly. i was admitted at 7.30 at the manchester lifestyle hopsital and was taken to my room, i shared a room as i was only a day case. i got all my stuff out and read my mag. about half an hour the anehestist came to see me and explained what he was going to be doing, then mr auraski came to see me and drew on me and wrote my implant size on my chest thats when it suddenly began to sink in. At about 10 the nurse came in and told me that i was next down so i had to get changed and she did some tests. i walked down with the nurse to the anesetic room. when i got there i was put on the bed and told to relax. he put a few pads on my bk and put a drip in my hand. i looked at the clock at it was 10.40. he then put some stuff in my drip and told me to think of a nice dream, i felt it at the back of throat nd then i woke up and it was 12.30. i was put bk on the ward about 20mins of being in recovery and had a drink of water. i fell aslepp and then woke to a nice cup of tea and biscuits. i couldnt eat as every time i tasted something it made me feel sick and i was sweating. i had an antisickness injection then i was away, tomoto soup, chicken sandwich and yougourt. i felt a lot better after eating but just couldn’t keep myself awake. i was finally discahrged at 8 and felt in no pain at all. I would recommend mya to anyone and would like to say thanks to the nurses, mr auraski and amy my pc. And also to all you guys for reassuring me when i had a few setbacks. xxx
