BA After or before having children??

hi girls,

im jut looking for some opinions views on wether, its work holding back untill i have had a family in the future or going ahead before having children?

hollie, im the same as u. im having my BA in december, im 24 and getting married early 2012 and hopefully kids to follow straight after. this is my biggest concern, should i wait til after kids?

in the end i have decided to do it now and live for the moment, in 10 yrs time when im finished having children, feeding etc if they need done again then so be it x

Personally id get them done before… You could be waiting years to have children.

Once you do, you will have other things to spend your £££ on. Taking 2 weeks off, not being able to do much, lift anything heavy… I imagine with children its hard..

Just go for it, I decided to wait & its only now (at 38) can i justify spending that kind of money on myself. Wish id have done it years ago!!

thanks paulat. see i agree, i think if i wait til children there always money to be spent elsewhere etc. i should spoil myself now whilst i stil can haha x

I agree – I decided to ‘sod it’ and go for it now. I am 27 and will have a family in a couple of years. But I want a few kids (if I can) and by the time I have finished with them I am looking at 10-12 years time…. So I thought, well If I can enjoy 10-12 years with the nice boobs that I want now then so be it…. So I BOOKED IT

Ive had a little girl, she’s 5. I’m having overs in Jan and the surgeon said there should be no problem, although I may need an uplift in 10 or so years if I decide to breastfeed, although he said with unders it’s not usually a problem xx

I had a BA before my 2 babies but my implants were 11 years old and I endured some complications. It is best to wait a year after breast surgery before having children only because of the changes in your breast tissue BUT in my experience it is best to have children before your implants get too old like mine did!!

I know plenty of people who had babies with-in 5 years of their surgery and they had NO problems at all.

I have just had BA#2 13 years after my original op – I don’t plan on anymore children.

hi i thought the same but i have got my BA on tues and i am so glad that i am doing it now as hearing all of my friends that have children they dont really have spare money to use on themselves. live for the moment……life is to short. x
